  1. They look so gorgeous Lappiemum Just took this one and it is their first time outside
  2. Love the photos guys especially the 'Puppies in a basket' Here are a couple of photos taken @ 3weeks 2days Think we might have some potential here Aweiai Enya Kyha Sascha And big Tank
  3. Lovely photos Partipaws Cynda is doing much better. Has only had a couple of tiny little head tremeors over the last day which I have 'snapped' her out of. Lot more calcium and plenty of good food.. Would like to Thank Denise of Bokezu. Thankyou so much, if it wasn't for your help, think we would be still doing test after test.
  4. lady just been and she is actually a physiotherapist not a chiro. Cynda has some tension in the neck but just dont know whether this is causing these head tremors Back to the drawing board I think and heaps more tests by the looks of things....... Will still have the glucose level tested tomorrow and see what the outcome of that is.
  5. She has had another little 'episode', bit milder but still one all the same. After alot of rining around from numerous respected breeders, and also a very good chiro in Perth, we are actually thinking it may be something to do with the 'nerves' in her neck and spine. She might have some trapped nerves that are pinching and causing sever pein when she is feeding as it mainly only happens when puppies are suckling and the milk starts letting down. Have been helping her feed while she is sitting up which seems to be ok. A local chiro is coming around later so we will see....She is eating a little more which is good.
  6. yep did that but stillnothing and calcium levels come back normal. Sugar levels may be high though so got to take her back in tomorrow after overnight fasting, for another sugar level test
  7. Congratulations to the new arrivals We have had a bit of a scare with Cynda and I hope someone has either heard of it or had dealings with it Right, about 6pm, my daughter was in with Cynda while she was feeding her pups and then she started screaming. Cynda was going into like a sorta fit, but only with her head. Her head was bobbing up and down furiously and she had muscle stiffness in the neck and this all lasted 10 mins. Rung the vet (on call vet ,) said possible lack of calcium, so gave her a good dose of calcium. Did that and all was fine until next feeding. Meantime, I took 4 pups off her and gave them to Kimba to feed for a little (blees her she took them straight away). Then 2 hours later, another outburst again when she was feeding and lying down(was lying down before too). Rung my own vet and thank god she said to bring her up the surgery. Took blood to do a calcium check, but her levels were normal Vet is now stumped aswell. Took more bloods and will get results back today or tomorrow. Got her home, then no more than half an hour later, she had another fit(calling it a fit as simular-also head bobbing), this time she wasn't feeding her pups. Now I have googled it, and found something simular which is called 'Idopathis Head Bobbing' which can be found in bulldogs, boxers, had a look at a video of a boxer doing it, and it is very simular. but Cynda seemed to be more tense in the neck and her head was bobbing a hell of alot faster. Vet did suggest insectisides, but I dont use anything. Friend has suggested major pain as in pinched nerve or something, and another friend has said possible spider bite. She is fine this morning, although extremely stuffed. I had to hold her up to feed last night as she is was alright when she was sitting up. If anyone has any ideas at all I would very much appreciate it tremendously :D
  8. Congratulations on all the new arrivals and so sorry for the ones who didn't make it We are all doing well here. Putting on weight and happy and healthy. My little runt girl is thriving and look out anyone who tries to get her off a teat. They haven't got a hope in hell :D Although, I have never had pieds before, and they always seem to have shite on them , they are growing on me and the little girl is my keeper, so far. The 3 pieds all have an attitude and have done from day dot
  9. We are all going well here. Cynda is loving being a mum, but does like to take time out for a little play every now and then (dont blame her ) Here are some individual photos of the bubba's brindle boy-Mampi brindle girl b/w girl little girl white with black girl white with black boy 1 white with black boy 2-Bullz Eye
  10. We have hit the 2 week mark here too, well 2 weeks and 2 days..And yes, I wormed them too today, and there were some puppies that were not to happy Here are a coupleof photos Brindle boy-Tank red girl- mahogony brindle girl brindle girl with white collar brindle girl As you can see we have all got quite large I still spin out over the size of them. Especially when I come from seeing Cynda's litter who are ever so tiny compared to these big heffer's
  11. Awww, look at Holly's face. She does not look impressed. Babies are gorgeous
  12. Ok, now we have 2 litters. Cynda gave birth to 7 little buba's naturally yesterday. All doing well. And on the other side of the whelping room, we have 5 HUGE beached whales. Male is over 1.2kilos , and the girls are from 1.1-1.5. I just about had a fir when i saw them this morning, it is liked they have ballooned over night... Got some more photos today but will post tomorrow.
  13. Congratulations to all the new arrivlas and sorry for the one who didn't make it We are all doing well here, well Cyn and bubs are, I am looking a walking Zombie atm Had to help the runt a bit last night and was a bit of touch and go for a while. Got really weak, wouldn't suckle, so put a drop of rescue remedy on her tounge, no change, so made a little mix of animalac up, gave her bout 2 drops (syringe) and hated it but went straight on the boob and has strived ever since. First day they have all put on between 29 and 48g so very happy.
  14. Congratulations Puglodge I am already over the pieds, they are covered in all sorts already.... They are all going well, but I am over the moon with first time mum Cyn. She has turned into a natural mother and is loving every monute of it. I went and made sure Kimba and her bubbies were alright and they are bloody huge compared to Cynda's. They definately look like beached whales now Cynda and her bubba's
  15. Ok, we have 7 little bubba's. 4 girls, 3 boys, 2black with white collars, 2 brindles with white and wait for it, 3 white and black pieds Cynda did an absolute marvelous job and I have to thank Hannah for a tremendous job as midwife. Dont know what I would have done without you mate.... Will update with photos tomorrow...
  16. Still nothing to report other than alot of panting, nesting then sleeping while panting. Maybe this arvo to tonight, well I am hoping
  17. I went in when my girl had her c-section 2 weeks ago and one of the nurses did this with a syringe. I started gagging straight away
  18. Ok, think we might be next Temp drop yesterday, bouts of fast heavy breathing, then snoring, then fast heavy breathing, then nesting, then back to snoring again. So with Cynda doing all this on one side of the whelping room, Kimba letting go of some horrific farts on the other side of the whelping room and her pups who dont know that night time is for sleeping, and little ol' me right smack bang in the middle of them, it is going to be a case of 'Bring On The Coffee'
  19. Then that makes them smaller still. I suggest put them into photobucket full. If i dont downsize them, it takes forever to put them on photobucket....
  20. All is going well here. 12 days old..... My son has already picked out his puppy Unbeknowing to him, she is also my favourite at this point
  21. I downsize them first in my editing software then upload them to photobucket...
  22. Good luck but holy cow, 8 days early, I better start watching Cynda more closely now then
  23. I have heard of all of the above but as my girl is due at the end of next week, I too would be interested to know other breeders methods.
  24. thanks, they are sooo beautiful :D when is she due? good luck!! She is due from Thursday onwards depending on what day she took :D Going to stock up on newspaper today and move Kimba and her puppies to the other whelping area. Have a large crate ready for her and then Cynda can have the whelping box to give her more room to whelp (Ihope) ;)
  25. We have little personalities starting here. The little red girl, loves attention, and when she knows I am there, she will come straight over for a cuddle, 'Tank'(the boy) is so much like his daddy whinges at bloody everything, collar girl is a little worm and wont sit still, spot girl is also likes attention but will let you know when she has enough, and little mohogony girl is the laid back one, takes everying in her stide, well crawl. They have all got this little whine/bark thing happening too now, and it is so cute except when they do it early hours of the morning
