Your a crazy dog lady when you have fur-niture!

There are still 2 pups in the window. And I overheard a lady say just that!! "Oh! He looks like a white, very fluffy golden retriever!" I felt like saying, are you kidding me?? They also have Siamese kittens at the moment. I could steal them too!!

The pet shop near where I work in Brisbane has Mareema puppies at the moment. Five of the big fellas in a glass box. Poor things. I wish I could break them out and run away with them!! to the pet shop!!

This is what happened to us. We move into our new house, new area, and Stella didnt settle as quickly as we hoped. She had plenty to do for the first week, had the garage to use at her leisure, and her bed and blankets and a couple of old shirts that we wore to bed for her. But, we found out a week later, she still barked all day. We had been here two weeks, and a council rep was on our doorstep, issuing a noise complaint. Thanks new neighbours, we feel so welcome. The next week she had a soft muzzle on, then a citronella collar, plus extra training. Haven't heard anything since. BUT, it made us feel really bad. Our dog has everything she could ever want and need, plus extra love. I was so worried that they would think we were bad owners, that I still (two years later) cannot really approach any of our neighbours as I dont know who made the complaint. Please give them some more time to sort them out. I only wish they had knocked on our door, rather than getting the council to.

All these idiots are doing is adding more poor doggies to our already struggling pounds and dog rescues. If you want another dog, go to a registered breeder, or, if you cant wait, go to the animal shelter and rescue a puppy. Most of these dogs are abandoned or surrendered because they're people cannot look after them. All my dogs have been pound puppies, and they have all been so lovely and loving, and that is what we all want, isnt it? Unconditional love and endless cuddles from our dogs. It makes me so angry when I hear people talking about this, too. My mums ex refused to de-sex his male staffy and he ended up dying of testicular cancer. Also he said "he will be right", instead of taking him to the vet to get him checked. I was so angry. And I still miss our Pirate Pete.

I cant get mine out of the water full stop! If there is any water around, she is in it! She will leap over the pool fence at our step fathers, to get in the pool! We have to watch her like a hawk there, otherwise the first you know is the SPLASH of her jumping in!

My last girl was a Poppy! She was red cattle x lab and so cuddly! Your Poppy is lovely, too!
