Was just about to update! lol Tonight i took her out for a run while i fed the horses and did a few things around the yard,i didnt bring the other two becasue if they are all together they dont listen to me and will go next door. So after i finished i came back in the yard and let her in with me,the other two come rushing up smelling her and she doesnt like that so she started a fight with the rotty. She bit him a few times but he has pretty thick fur so dont think he has any injuries. She got bitten on the face and there is a rather large wound there now,i have cleaned it up and put some bepanthen on top. I cant afford vet fees right now so hoping it will heal up by itself,if its not in the next few days then i will have to take her. Really not happy with her lately though,barking during the day,starting fights with the rotty. The owner said her foot was bitten by a rotty so could be why she doesnt like him. She runs around all day,we are always outside. She needs to go before one of them get seriously injured. I can see why he didnt want her back,and constantly whining. She doesnt let go of her ball except for when she sleeps and when she has it and youre not playing with her she will whine! There has been nil interest in her,shes all over my facebook. On the sa dog rescue page,and here! Also on border collie rescue on facebook to. It was fun at first but now her true colours are coming! And with 4 weeks before i get my pup i cant have 4 dogs especially with the fighting. I dont know what to do now,

I will be there this weekend, couldnt sunday as i had to ride that day. Looking forward to it though!

aah bugger,shes on the sa dog rescue page now. Didnt think i would be upset to see her on there. I dont know how long i will have her for,its only been about a week since ive had her and it already seems like forever.

Will be needing one of them heavy duty kuranda beds next too,when i have some spare funds!

That looks pretty comfy! Hopefully will be able to order mine soon,and will need one for the pup too.

Iam getting him from nsw,so not sure if i will drive or fly to pick him up yet. He is gorgeous though,black/brindle boy. What time sunday is it on? As i have a horse thing on but if its a bit later i can come. Would be good to meet some showies and get some info. The handler classes,what does that involve? Would be good to go to aswell. Thanks

Im getting a cane corso pup in just over a month,he has full register papers. I was interested in showing him but no idea where to start. Iam in s.a Could someone pm me if possible and help me out Thanks

I have just over a month before i pick up my cane corso male pup. Have bought the crate and thats it for now lol Pretty excited,still need to decide whether to drive to nsw or fly to pick him up.

Went and got her vet paperwork today, he has spent a lot of money on her! The leg has been fixed,shes had an operation on it. It was caught in a fence and another incident the neighours rotty grabbed hold of it under the fence and she pulled it back and it ripped bone off apparently I seen the fence she jumped over,about 6 foot! He told me she is an absolute ball freak aswell and would chew rocks as a pup. He seemed genuinely concerned about her. She was bought from a pet shop,one paper says border collie x staffy, the next says border collie x kelpie Her vetwork says kelpie x bc so ill just go with that. He said he might come past and see her,but it will upset him too much he thinks. He lives like 2 minutes from where i found her too, he said he took her for a walk up there a week earlier where the vet is to have her stitches out and she must have gone back there when she got out. But she has gone from a 3 kid family to all alone which is sad,but she hasnt tried to get out here at all. Shes obsessed with the tennis ball though! I have no idea where she got it,as my dogs have soft toys and have no interest in ball chasing lol Shes an awesome dog though and i actually jogged during our walk yesterday,shes giving me the motivation to get fit lol Hard to get photos as they never sit still! But she eats twice a day, gets played with flat out here. Our dogs arent by themselves for long during the day and can always see in the house to see what were doing. She seems pretty happy here. We have 2/12 acres and its sectioned off for the horses and a big yard for the dogs. So its pretty good here for her. I guess i should start trying to find a home for her lol

I havent yet as weve been so busy over easter. Today we talk her for a walk to the new playground here in lewiston,geez shes got so much energy! The walk was probably over an hour and she was running around when we got back. And before we went for the walk she was playing ball with my daughter. I noticed today while she was sitting on my lap at the park that shes got hardly and teeth,their all there but they are like nubs! Her canines are so worn down they are literally nubs! What on earth is that about? It really shocked me. Shes been eating well though so i dont think its bothering her. poor little girl. Im heading to angle vale tomorrow anyway as i need to get horse food so ill give the man who had her a buzz before i leave so i can go pick up all her records etc. Shes becoming heaps close to my daughter,which is going to be hard when she goes Anyway i shall update tomorrow and let everyone know what happens and will get some new piccies of her too Ill give a few breed rescues a buzz also xxx Thanks

She certainly is full of beans! We were playing ball with her til late last night and today! Ive never had a dog like this before and its amazing how smart she is. She will bring you the ball and flick it towards you with her nose! He said hes paid so much in pound fees because she keeps getting out that this would be the best option, i must sound like a real sucker on the phone lol I did feel bad for her though. She runs around fine on the leg and is super fast,would it be ok to take her for a walk if shes still active on that leg?? Wouldnt mind taking her to see my horses and the cows and sheep down the street. My brother is pretty peeved the guy didnt pick her up or even offer any money for food or anything,everyone thinks shes gorgeous though! Shes good with the rotty but he gets jelous when we play ball with her becasue he cant keep up,poor bugger lol And hes been following her around like a bad smell too I wouldve posted earlier but have been easter shopping all day. Will call this guy monday to get her papers etc as i havent recieved any calls back today,even though our second convo was cut short because of bad service. Shes much more settled today though,and been playing with her ball. She hasnt been waiting at the gate today either. Like i said if i hadnt already bought a puppy a week ago which is due to come home in 1 month then i wouldnt mind keeping her

I try to not have any hay/straw in the yard as the birds make a big mess with it,and it attracts mice ive found. Thanks for the suggestion! Nekhbet : Where abouts do you work? could you possibly give me a link? Ive googled the crap out of these beds to find the cheapest lol

She has taken my mind off of my friend though whose funeral was wednesday,so maybe im a bit more emotional for this dog after having lost a friend a week earlier and attending the funeral the day before i found her. Will be hard giving her away now,although she seems to be pacing the yard. Missing her owner i think

Just took a pic of the collar i cut off of her,and ill go outside and grab some pics of her and see if i can see any scars while im at it. Wont be able to sleep without looking now lol

I guess i should get her to the vet as i doubt this man would have any part of it. Ill have a better look at her leg during the day and see what i can do. My rottweiler boy has been a bit jelous and following her around the yard too,hes been a bit stressed since she got here. And my oh isnt very happy that this guy didnt come pick her up,i think ill be taking him with me when i go see the owner. If he gives me his address that is. I waited around for an hour for him to show and she was waiting at the gate,looking out the hole. Pretty sad actually. I thought he would atleast come see her and tell me in person rather than over the phone. Especially as he was coming back today from wherever he was and he lives about 10 minutes from me.

I only have the one photo on my fb as they all come running towards me and is hard to take a good pic unless its feed time but i can get some more during the day,i put a link up a few posts up
