One of my dogs is similer like that, she went to puppy preschool and was well socilised but never took much intrest in other dogs, she just ignores them. When she was 4yrs we got a second dog, a pup and she was a little fearful at first but after a few days she started to play with her a little and then alot, they are now typical sisters, likes their time together and likes their time apart, they have a great relasonship, she still has no intrest in other dogs except her little sister.

My 11yr old Silky terrier who's 4.3kg gets about 1 cup or a bit under of Eagle Pack a day, and my 6yr old PomX who's about 3.8kg gets about 1/2 - 3/4 of a cup depending on how hungry she is. A 3kg bag of Eagle Pack usually lasts about a month and a half.

Im going to be the odd one out here . My pick is Eagle Pack Holistic . Ive tried my girls on Nutro and they didnt like it very much, i have had much better results on EP. And i also like the fact that the eagle pack is holistic.

I feed my two dogs the Eagle Pack Holistic. They mostly have the chicken formula, but have tried the fish, lamb and duck, all are great!!
They enjoy eating it, unlike when they were on Eukanuba, and they are both very healthy.

Zorro, i know for a fact that most other dog food companies also test on animals, so do the makers of flea, worming, heartworm and pet medications. Its a sad fact of life but i think you would be hard pressed not to find a pet product that isnt.
BTW, i have had great results with getting the weight on my silky with the Eukanuba low-residue, and i now use the eagle pack holistic which has maintained that weight.

I was told the other day by a dermcare rep that tea tree oil is bad in shampoos, as it has a drying effect which will just make the skin itchy and that its just a marketing ploy because people think it has healing properties.

Trevanizdanes, where abouts in Australia are they. I'm in brissie and have a local supplier who does free delivery on the northside.
If they are else where, there is the Eagle Pack australia site on the web which lists all the people that sell it. PM me if you need help or the no. for the brissie one.
Lillysmum, i would definatly recomend trying it, and the great thing is there are several varitys in the Holistic line (have tried chicken, duck and next will be fish).

Hi cassie,
I feed Eagle Pack too, although i have two small dogs and they get the Eagle Pack Holistic varietys. I have found it to be a fantastic food too and will not be changing back to Eukanuba. The only problem i have found is that it can be a bit hard to get it  .

I too thought that it is legally able to be sold seperatly as long as the info sheet is given. Sentinel also does puppy packs which contains one tablet and the info sheet for new pups on there first visits.
Personally i dont like the idea of giving them out seperatly due to the fact that the person may not continue each month if they dont have them on hand as it would be easier to forget or if they just couldnt be bothered one month to go buy it.

For my two (4kg and 4.5kg) dogs
* Eagle pack dry food - $5 per week
*Eagle pack canned - $3.50 per week
*Lamb shanks - $5 per week
Or if instead of lamb shanks, chicken wings so about $2
*Canned sardines - $2.50
So i guess around $13-$16 per week for two small dogs.

It would be Advocate, does heartworm, fleas and most worms, i think you still have to do for tapeworm, and doesnt protect aganist ticks either.
Advantix is fleas for a month and ticks for two weeks.

My food of choice is Eagle Pack Holistic. I personally dont like hills as it seems to be all grains and by-products.

Another one for blackdog here . They are great.

I'm another eagle pack fan here . I switched from eukanuba to eagle about 4months ago and havent looked back. My dogs love it, i give them the holistic chicken biscuits and the canned holistic lamb or chicken. The only problem is that my supplier is a bit slack, and two out of three times has forgotten or lost my order .

I train at P.A.D.S in Brisbane on Monday nights. .

KateK,
I think they are the same people.
I like the Holistic varieties the best, they are more expensive but they are recomended for dogs that can be food sensitive.
-
KateK,
The Eagle Pack website has all the suppliers for Queensland on it. .

Eagle Pack is a bugger to find, but i get it from Petz Dog Food Company (ph 0417 791 254) and they do free delivery for the Northside of Brisbane which is very handy. They also will give you samples before you buy which is great especially if you have a fussy dog like mine (luckly my other dog is a pig ;) ).
I get the Holistic Chicken which for a 3kg bag is about $30 but that lasts my two about two months or even a bit longer. The other variaties are i think a bit cheaper.

Hi Em&Taco,
My favourite from the list is the Eukanuba and i did have my dogs on this before i changed to Eagle Pack which i have found to be even better. These foods are generally more concentrated than the supermaket foods so you have to feed less and are better quailty (you get what you pay for).
From experience i would recomend Eagle Pack, though it is hard to find.
Hope this helps
PS. If you are concerned about the weight maybe a vet checkup might help.

I have just switched over from Eukanuba to Eagle Pack Holistic Chicken dry food and the Eagle Pack Holistic tinned food for my two dogs and cat and have so far found them to do great on it, there coats are really shiny and body condition is great.
I have never used the Nutrience so cannot compare the two, but i do find the Eagle Pack to be a great food, they also say they use human grade ingredients, and organic meat (if that matters).

Hi Roxy, for my dogs i use the Aloveen shampoo and conditioner, it is great for dry coats and skin. I would definently reccomend it.

I dont have a greyhound, but i use heartgard monthly and drontal every 3months for my dogs. I like doing them seperatly aswell, as the products which do everything every month seem like a bit of an over kill to me.
