  1. Skruffy you can feed an appropriate size amount. I would probably start with a one scoop and see if it helps as a loading dose. If you think you need to add more then do that :). My 17kg BC was fine on the up to 15kg dose. In contrast I have also at times had my 14kg BC on 2 scoops as a maintenance dose.

  2. I ended up using a couple of drain soaking clothes of all things underneath my fake turf. Worked heaps better then the puppy pee pads. Yes it required some washing but when I used the puppy pee pads they ended up being ripped to shreds.

  3. Pretty happy with the midwest pen that I ended up with for my BC pup. I like the fact that it has a proper gate on it which a person can get into which makes for ease of cleaning if necessary.

  4. BC Crazy I have both a mesh and a quilted for Kenz. I use the quilted one for if she is in the car or out but I keep the mesh for home as she sleeps indoors. I don't heat the house over winter but the mesh ones seems to keep her sufficiently warm. I also prefer it for sleeping indoors as it does breathe and its not as stiff. Even with Ness before she passed away I was just using a mesh for sleeping in.

  5. My old girl at 14 was having beach trips and walks/outings twice a day right up until the day she died. Sure she slowed down a little bit but that didn't stop us. Keeping them active helps keep them alive I think. Even if its only a drive to a local park and a bit of pottering.

  6. Also makes it more expensive for city competitors. Think its stupid having to get extra novice passes. Most dogs are either more then ready for novice and in which case making them get 5 quallies is pointless or they struggle as it is.

I also found it odd that the games classes remained the same and the agility and jumping classes changed.

  7. For what its worth my high prey drive dog would not play with a home alone. She is trained using a tug through Steve's TID but tug is a two way game for her. She couldn't see the point in tugging on a home alone by herself. Part of the value for using tug for training as a reward is the interaction with you. I would save tug for training and leave other toys for her to play with at home.
