I think the Creon does the job that Enzyplex is supposed to do. My parents had Tajah on Enzyplex and before that Thrive D and neither of them worked. After switching to Creon and onto Vets All Natural Complete mix, mince and vegies she started regaining weight in two weeks.

Just thought I'd update again and Tajah is almost completely back to normal. She's regained all the weight she needed, there are no bones showing, her coat is good again and the oils and smell are almost completely gone. The difference in her since starting the Creon and changing the food is absolutely incredible

The Worst That Could Happen, Did...
shekhina replied to wolf82's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
So sorry to hear this, it's extremely stressful when your dog is getting out all the time I have had an absolutely shocking time with Kovu jumping fences...he was so bad he would get let out the back door, run straight to the fence and over he'd go :p An electric wire stopped him. He got hit right on his wet nose so it would have been quite painful for him. Has NEVER attempted to jump the fence again and wont even stand on his back legs near it. If you think your dog has too much 'drive' to get to the other dog and would go through an electric wire then you'd better be getting yourself a secure dog run. If he keeps getting out these people have every right to have your dog declared dangerous, you're lucky he didn't kill their poor dog I hope you find a way to get it sorted out, I know the stress you must be going through and it's a sickening feeling -
Pretty much, yes Financial reasons have held me back from going further much faster. I'm very lucky in that Kovu had a very high drive before even starting, so he's been very easy to teach

Nice work! This is the stage Kovu and I are at now too, so it was good to see things are fairly similar I use a start phrase "where's the toy?!" although I'm quite sure Kovu is only hearing "toy" because if I say "toy" by accident while he's around he starts running around, squealing and looking for the orbee ball I notice you weren't using a marker word for the correct behaviour? Or perhaps you were but I didn't hear it When I ask for a sit and the butt hits the ground and I get the eyes looking at me I give a "yes" then Kovu will wait for the release word. Are you doing something different?

I can't find anything online, but I'll be buying another bag on the 4th, so if people are still wanting to analysis then I can post it up
-
I don't keep the bags sorry, they are emptied into the dog food bin. I'll have a look around on the net for you though, but last time I did that there wasn't much information

The kibble is definitely much more moist than most. It's still a dry food, but it does seem to feel more oily. I love it because it has done my dogs wonders, shiny coats, weight gain for the impossible to hold weight dog AND it's cheap, which is always nice. Not often anything to do with dogs is cheap

All breeds

I'm so sorry RIP Nettie

Yep, I have to say my dogs coats are better on this food than they were on the Bonnie Working Dog. That formula used to do really well for my guys, but for the last few months I've noticed Kovu doesn't hold his weight as well and I had to feed much more of the Bonnie to Daegon to get him to hold a decent weight. I've been able to drop back from 7 (yes, 7 ) cups of Bonnie for Daegon to 3 1/2 of the Barko and he's starting to gain
-
So sorry RIP Scatterpat
-
My dogs are currently on this kibble and I've found it really good for weight gain. I also like that it doesn't swell if you soak it, it just turns to mush so I don't bother anymore. Even Daegon seems to not mind this kibble, so while he's eating it, it's staying
