Oh yes he is safe with birds except the stuffed ones that have squeakers in them  he has his green collar which is fantastic, apparently he is a very laid back boy, I am anxious to meet him.

OMG Rebanne they are absolutely stunning babies.

Well I had the best news yesterday, found out that my grandson, he has been wanting a dog for company for ages, has adopted Dino a three year old boy from GAP, I know that they are going to have just the best life.

Glad that he got a dog to match his height, 6' 3".

The pup should be fed whatever the breeder will be feeding the litter, changing a diet too quickly can cause stomach upsets, also the breeder of this puppy is the best person to ask the feeding programme she does with her adults.

I always have a puppy pack when my babies are going to there new homes, in that is included a feeding programme for up to six months and I am always here for the new owners to contact me should they have any concerns at any time.

I only feed puppy kibble until they are 12 weeks old and then switch them to adult, too much protein for my breed in puppy kibble.

I notice you use Ivory Coat, that already has the additives, like the fruit you also add.

Switch her too the adult kibble.

They are just such beautiful babies Rebanne, so glad to see that the brindles have now welcomed the little black brindle girl back into the fold.

The little red man is looking good too.

It was just a thought, so that is not the reason why she is reacting to your husband like she is.

I wish you luck with getting her to accept him without all that barking going on when he comes in.

I wonder if she has had a bad experience or no contact in her previous home with a male.

Where abouts in SA do you live?

My vet is very good at doing this minor operation I am down south I also know of a good vet out north of Adelaide that does a lot with Frenchies.

I know where you are coming from Rural Pug and I agree with you, my vet will not do this if he does not think that a dog is not overly compromised, but this is a 12 week old puppy and as yet too young and seems to be having trouble already,  but from the OP it sounds pretty bad.

Ngaire Ingham I would suggest that you let the breeder know about this situation with your puppy, if I was the breeder I would definitely want to know and if it did happen to one of my puppies I would offer to pay half the vet bill as the puppy is so young and he would not have been gone from the breeder for more than four weeks.

Gretel I am so sorry to hear that your precious girl has gone to the  she is free now to play with our precious ones already there.

If he is having difficulty breathing and your vet thinks he has an elongated palate, which is common in brachy breeds, get him to trim/laser some off, minor op. for your dogs health sake and also for his comfort.

The two dogs that I mentioned above, the female is 19 months old and in Qld, are with the owners not in a shelter.

I think either of them would be a good fit, over the puppy stage, the male being an ex show dog may have a lot of manners and easier to handle, he sounds just beautiful from the write up on him.

What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl, it is just so hard to get over losing such a dog, i lost one of my heart dogs six years ago and I still weep from time to time, he was like your Zena, almost human and always the first to my side if he knew that I was upset. bless them both.

Dyson looks just like Bolt that my grandson adopted.

Bolt is doing some travelling from SA to WA in their motor home stopping off for a surf and runs on the beaches on the way, they are heading to Esperance with a job waiting for them on a farm.

One of my grandson's and his partner adopted a beautiful kelpie from the RSPCA last week, Bolt is 2 years old.

You are right Diva, they fly by heavy transport planes and the grooms and vets travel with them, very different for small animals, into the hold until they reach their destination.

I have a ten month old puppy who tips her water out when she is in her crate for the night, so I bought the large Rabbit drink holder, has the stainless steel tube that she licks, now no more wet blankets in the morning.
