  1. I used to use a public hydrobath for my large dogs when I had them they have since gone to the bridge. I now only have a small dog and he gets done at home. Someone asked if they put their dog in the shower with them, yes that is the way I bath him he only weighs 7kg so it is much easier.

  2. My boy is getting a new bed, schmackos, kangaroo sticks to chew, pigs ear, he received liver treats and discs from his SS this year (schmackos of course). He will also be getting a couple of new toys from clean run, new squeaky balls probably a cuz ball. Also a special christmas dinner with most of the trimmings. As somebody else said lots of cuddles, belly rubs and kisses I think that is enough and for his friend Grace who lives with us he will give her some Schmackos. I love spoiling my baby this time of year.

  3. I would like to build a home on land that can accomodate my wheelchair and to be able to access the property in the wheelchair so I can then take my dog for a walk on my own instead of relying on others to push me to do so. My boy gets an incredible amount of love from me and family but his ultimate thing would be a gigantic bag of squeaky balls and toys. One of those snuggle pods, cuz balls he loves them. Lots and lots of liver schmackos his absolute favourite. A cure for cancer would be good loosing dogs way too young to die with it.

  4. So I can confidently tell everyone(thanks to my friend Skyseblue vet nurse)who took her 3year old child's sunscreen to work and all vets said that Banana Boat Kid's Very High protect sunscreen in the ultra mist is very safe for dogs.

Then that is what I will be purchasing for my boy thanks very much for the information.

  5. Where do you get these products from online or directly from your vet I have a terrier that is a sunbaker. I am worried that he will get skin cancer can you put this on their bellies etc. This is where he tends to bake the most. Thanks in advance.

Prada I got the Vetbasics from my local Petbarn. For me it was way too thick and she cried every time I put it on.Being a greyhound with thin skin and a big amount to cover it didn't suit us.May suit you.

My boy has very thin skin on his under side and very sensitive to various things. Thick sunscreen would not suit. Could I use sunscreen that humans use? Is there really any difference? Perhaps I will go that way and give it ago and see. Has anyone else used human grade sunscreen on their dogs?

Mason Gibbs I know you do how did you find it?

  6. My main issue with making ice blocks is that everything I add sinks to the bottom, then they just spend 10 minutes getting through to all the goodies, then wander away! Any ideas on how to get things into the middle??

My question that I was going to ask sitting reading this topic. Thanks for asking.

Fill up the container with water halfway or less--freeze it. Then when it's frozen, line a layer on top of the frozen block, cover with water, and freeze again.

Thanks for the answer to the question great idea I would never have thought about doing it this way either.
