Congratulations we bought home our baby with a multiple dog home and never had any issues. The dogs were in the house when we got the cot and nursery all set up. They sniffed all the things that went away into drawers etc. When baby was born we bought home their clothes and nighties etc and put them on the floor on top of a sheet and let them smell them all.

When baby came home we held her whilst the dogs were let in one by one to sniff and lick (facewasher in hand) and never had a problem. In fact my old girl thought she was one of her own and took it upon herself to take care of the baby. A look from her to the other dogs and they would just move away. My greatest piece of advice is if you cannot watch them even for a few seconds you lock the dogs away from the kid and the kid away from the dogs. That way no accidents can happen or take the child with you.

Having a baby really did not disrupt our dog household at all and when she was born we had several large breeds and one small breed. It disrupted the human lives more.;)

Another solo dog owner here though I share a house with a Shih Tzu cross two cats and two birds. But sadly I only have one dog I would love another but due to circumstances I have to just have the one. And one is better than none.

As an owner of a small dog he is always in the house when I am out. It is the safest place for him no matter how diligent you are accidents do and can happen. I guess they can happen in a house as well but for my own piece of mind my beloved dog stays inside. I am so sorry for the Jack Russells owners.

Well the website is not that great. I have never heard of them and going by their website I would probably not use them either. I would stick to the other companies that are well known. JMO

We feed Royal Canin for small dogs but I am wanting to change him back to Black Hawk Holistic in the not too distant future as he went nuts for that when fed it before we moved.

Having recently travelled with two small dogs from one side of the country to the other I asked this question. I was told that if they were under six months of age they could have travelled together in the same crate. They were older much older so seperate crates for them.

My boy howls at the Antiques Roadshow theme music he started as a puppy and is now five and half and continues everytime he hears it.

Mini Foxies make wonderful pets I have had them for well over 20 years now. They have grown up with children some with special needs. They maybe small but they are tough little blighters when it comes to kids. So gentle with all children with people in general. As for the secretary well it is not up to her to make assumptions and refuse you a puppy. Speak to other breeders within the Mini Foxie Club. I have found the club to be slow to act on anything if at all so do not take it personally.

I currently have a five year old foxie and he is brilliant with kids and adults alike. If it's a foxie you want go for it go to a breeder within the MFCA there are some wonderful breeders do not limit your search to your state as transporting from interstate is so easy.

Mini Foxies are the most loyal and fun loving dogs I love mine to death.

I have used Jetpets many many times and they are great but I sent two dogs from Melbourne to Perth in May and actually found that Dogtainers were cheaper than Jetpets so give them a call. It was quite a considerable amount.

Ex Ballarat now in Western Australia. But going back to Geelong in a year or two.
