They say to replace them every two months but I havn't changed mine yet and they're still going strong. Whenever Hunter has had a drink without the dog rocks the burn patches have appeared again. special_kali Posted January 18, 2008 Share Posted January 18, 2008 i was told the reason you get the burn patches is a PH imbalance. so if you check what food you are feeding and maybe change to something without wheat you will notice they stop without having to buy the rocks.
