What Brand Clipper

I am more or less forced to do a clipping course (due to demand of current customers). Now I need a good set of clippers. The compagny is advising the Whall KM-SS but I have heard that they are prone to overheating? The sort of clip I will be doing is more or less a summer clip/shave and or tidy of face and feet. So the question is what brand/model is the best. It will be mainly border collies/golden retreivers/ poodle crosses that I expect to be clipping.

Go with the Wahl KM2 or the Andis AGC Super 2. Both of these are reasonably priced professional clippers. The Wahl are slightly lighter and cheaper but the Andis are super quiet and require less maintenance due to their drive system and they are a sealed unit.

I personally have not used the Wahl KM 2's but have tried the Wahl Switchblade and was quite impressed with them,variable speed compared to 2 speed http://www.clipperworld.com.au/shop/index....Cat&catId=1

I've also used the Laube's and found them to be very good as well although pricey

I've been looking at the Wahl KM2s too - when i used them they were great!

I'll be buying my own pair soon!

Have used both Wahls with no problems.

Bought a pair of Saxon clippers from Nicestman77 and they were great. He worked in a grooming salon for many years and now sells and services clippers/blades/scissors etc.
