Vet Recommendation.. Melbourne.

I can heartily recommend the Boronia Veterinary Clinic and Hospital, although the location may not suit you. Really helpful staff, with quite a few vets available at any one time so there's hardly any waiting times. Very reasonable rates.

Cheers, Paul.

All,

Sorry for the lack of response, i've been away for few days ;|

anyway, i'm located in North Melbourne, very close to Lort Smith Animal Hospital.

Thanks, Paul. But Boronia is abit too far :)

MarieC, Where is Lost Dog Home located?

How about the one on Clarendon Street? Clarendon Street Animal Hospital, South Melbourne.

Cheers,

Vision

I don't go to Lort Smith any more. They broke my dacschie's jaw during a dental and she never recovered. Put a bad taste in the mouth, particularly as no one would explain how it happened. I also found many of the vets downright rude - probably b/c of all the horrible stuff they see, but no need to treat everyone like dirt.

Also you have to wait AGES to see someone, even when you do have an appointment.

I see a specialist grey vet in Keysborough, but my sister's vet (Rob Jones) in Dandenong is great also, but too far for you I guess.

We really like Kathy DALY at Kensington Veterinary Clinic in Epsom Rd - she's been our vet since 2002, when we moved to Melbourne. Removed our cat's eye due to melanoma, really good surgical skills. Good with animals and humans too.

We trust her advice implicilty - I drive 45 min to see her with the latest pup!
