Any Boarding Kennels Close To Brisbane City?

Im trying to find a dog boarding kennel within close reach of Brisbane City/CBD.

Obviously this is proving difficult because you usually find kennels out in Rural areas and the like.

We have taken our 3 doggies to Alidas Pet Resort which is basically half way between Brisbane and Gold Coast, prices were very reasonable ($40/day for all 3 so 13.33 a dog). Great when heading south that way on holidays but not so good if your heading north.

Boy there is some big differences in price, and some sure do know how to slug you on multiple dogs.

Does anyone know of any good kennels close to the CBD? Or alternatively Im going to need to find a kennel on the north on route to Sunshine Coast, one West and one South (South one is ok because Alidas is that way)!

Yes The Pines Pet Resort at Elimbah just off the Highway heading north of Caboolture, friends daughter and husband runs this well managed boarding kennel.

Brisbane Pet Motel, Boondal.

Firethorn, Glenview. (Not far from Ettamogah Pub)

Both have good reputations.

Aussie Pet Resort, Woodford- may be out of your way. Have boarded my cats there. Lovely staff, owner is a vet nurse.

Maroochy Boarding Kennels, Kunda Park (Maroochydore), my Mother has used them since 1995.

can't for the life of me recall the name but one of the boarding kennels has a drop off point in Stafford, on stafford road next to the vet/groomer/pet supply/skate rink. From there they take them to the boarding facilities which are further out.

Yes, I think Kissindra's thinking of Samford Pet Resort. They offer a choice between standard kennel accommodation & rooms that look like rooms in a house.

Our shelties used to go there, way back, & loved it. Used to walk away with the kennel manager, wagging their tails, because they knew & liked him.

They also employ their own vet, on site. If our tibs ever had to board, this would be the only place we'd send them.

They have a large number of pick-up points around Brisbane.
