If anyone still wants to enter our show, please note that we are still taking entries. There is both an Open and a Champ show on Sunday February 20th 2011 to be held at Caboolture Show Grounds. Please either post them or you can hand them in this weekend to Debbie and Jamie-Lee outside the gundog ring. Thanks n.b. Edited to remove Jason and Nadia as they will not be at the show this weekend. So if you want to give us your entries on the weekend we will gladly accept them at the Durack show. Any idea who is judging the sweepstakes yet , as nothing is listed in the advert. I just refrained from entering them because I had no idea who was doing them. I would hate now to find out it is the Boxer Specialist and I didnt give him a sweepstakes entry. Also which entry gate will be used because I believe the Markets will be on. As for entry to the showgrounds - will be the same as per November show. Through the gate on Beerburrum road - I "think" it is gate 4, the last one before where the new horse stadium is being built. It was a double show and went very well. The February show is an open and a champ and so far entries are a bit down - but with all the flooding we are thinking that people may just have a few other things on their minds at the moment. Teamsnag I will be taking entries at Durack on the weekend, or if you are posting I'd make sure you posted them by the end of this week at the latest. Entries will be accepted all week, so please, if you were thinking of entering, now is the time to put a few entries in the mail. Caboolture KC is on 20th February at Caboolture Showgrounds Main Arena, and entry is via Beerburrum Rd. We look forward to seeing you at the show.... Classicyds Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 *BUMP* Just wanted to mention that Caboolture KC is really lucky to have Mr Stephen Peel from Fragglerock Kennels in New Zealand coming to judge Group 5 for us. Stephen is a working dog specialist, and we are super hopeful that all working dog people will get onboard and enter under him!! Most of you would know that we try as hard as we can at Caboolture KC to get breed/group specialists to judge in their specific group, so we really ask exhibitors to come along and show your support for our club. I know so many of you have been affected by the floods in one way or another, and a lot of you probably aren't feeling very dog showy at present, but we do need entries to help keep the club moving along. Many thanks to those of you who have entered. We only have a small entry to date, so any additional numbers will be welcomed. We were hoping Group 4 would pull a big entry as Mr Adam Druce has not judged in Qld before and is a Group 4 specialist....and seems like a really lovely person (from my delaings with him). Classicyds Posted February 2, 2011 Share Posted February 2, 2011 Hi Team Snag, Joy Lanham is cataloguing and accepting entries for us for this show, usually I do the entries, but this is a crazy time of year as I have overseas visitors too.... I haven't spoken to Joy today, but I would assume that she still might take entries on Monday (at the latest), so if your entries come to us we can send them on in time I would hope.
