Flying A Dog From Brissy To Sydney

If you're flying with the dog then there is no need to use people like Dogtainers - you lodge the animal before the flight and collect it after you land.

One thing to bear in mind (especially with VB) is that you need to lodge the dog a lot earlier than your own check-in so factor that into your timing.

I should also mention that said krispy kreme is drive thru.... good for me and for her :D

Sounds like a done deal :D

Are you going down for the K9 Pro seminar?

We're going to the K9 Pro workshop while we're there but that's not the main reason we're going, just an excuse to socialise :)

Thanks Dan, I'll keep that in mind. I thought I'd need to contact DT to hire a crate but hopefully I'll be able to borrow CMs :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Can I also add that you will stress more than Daisy will. I was petrified flying Abby, sat in the terminal and watched her get loaded onto the plane. Stressed the whole time at any bump or turbulance in the plane. On the other end, Abby was fine. Glad to get out of the crate, but wasn't shaking or in a state at all. I was the one in a state :)
