chuckandsteve Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 I am going away for 4 weeks, and hubby is joining me for 2. We still have a foster we hoped would be gone to his forever home, but no such luck Anyway for the 2 weeks my 2 dogs are going to stay with my parents and one of my friends is coming to stay with the foster. As it is a bit of work maintaining pack order and we don't trust anyone to do it so that is why we are splitting them up. Anyway I'm concerned the foster might bark all day as he is use to company, I am going to leave a bone for him each day but does anyone have any other ideas of things that might keep him happy? Bullmastiffmum Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 My partner and i occassionly work extended hours For our boy we leave 3 kongs out a kong wobbler and empty 600ml coke bottles ( with plastic seal cut off) with dog food in them We also hide treats around the yard This seems to work and most times he even leaves one to smash/eat when we do get home Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
