dotdashdot Posted December 9, 2014 Author Share Posted December 9, 2014 We had our last show of the year on the weekend and we brought Nala's total to 41 points for her first year of showing! Considering we only showed at about 5 events (each 2 or 3 shows) I am extremely proud of Nala for how she's progressed and a little bit at myself as I'm still a newbie and this is the longest I've pursued showing an entire dog (Cleo only made it to minor and was desexed a few months later) Considering I was told (pre-points) that it could take 3 - 4 years to title her, I think we've made great headway and she shows a lot of promise :) The winning is nice, but the lovely words from my competitors is what really makes my heart soar when the person winning best in group (same breed) complimented my girl on the weekend I was all "aw shucks!"
