Missymoo Posted December 1, 2005 Share Posted December 1, 2005 I started with the mini hobby tool, but it just didnt hold up, the power slowed right down after a couple of uses. I now use the more expensive and bigger one, (the one just under Dremel) and its still going strong, think I paid about $40 for it. Even if you do go too far it seals the blood vessel. I will NEVER go back to clippers, as the kids lie on their backs on my bed and hand me their paws (like a doggy nail salon! lol) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Poodle wrangler Posted December 29, 2005 Share Posted December 29, 2005 Finally, bought myself a Dremel for Xmas. Cordless version $50 @ Bunnings + $10 for pack of fine-grit sandpapers. Works well and dog happy, too. Followed the instructions from 'Doberdawn' (link posted previously). No sharp edges like after clipping. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
