Instead Of A Tarp Use A Pvc Table Cloth For Protection.
SwaY replied to SwaY's topic in Breeders Community
We did back in 2009 he did not work out show wise, so he went back to his breeder where she desexed and pet homed him. We have been waiting for 18months+ for another one. When Amy had a litter of puppies she offered us one for my daughter to show as she knew we wanted something for her to show. -

I'm not sure how all these threads turn into ones about Dexter but I must admit he looked cute in my dog yard! Because he is cute! -

No, you don't use it on it's own. :D I have no floor in my whelping box so I put down carpet then a tarp, then paper then vetbed or carpet for the mum and puppies to lay on. The tarp/tablecloth is to protect the permanent flooring which your whelping box sits on. Have you see what the little bugger has been up to today? Devilish Dexter You are most welcome to look after the cheeky monkey any time you like - that's if your game enough! -
Now who wants to design a logo. :D

I'm with you a Ribbon is enough, you and I might not care about a prize but many others sure do.

And they would do the same if the dog in front of them was an entire poor example of the breed.

I don't see any new exhibitors showing yet, they seem to be existing exhibitors most with older titled dogs. :D (ETA those with non titles dogs are already existing exhibitors) From Saturday's Ovens valley show. Toy - 1 x Cav - 16 yrs, not titled. 1 x Tibetan Spaniel Gr Ch titled, 11yrs. Terrier - NIL Gundogs - 1 x Novia Scotia - Ch titled, 8yrs. Hound - NIL Working - 1 x Sheltie - 2yrs, not titled. Utility - 2 x Dobermann - Both Ch titled, 6/7yrs. 1 x Rotti Ch titled, 7 yrs. Non Sporting - 1 x Std Poodle - Ch titled, 3yrs. Does anyone have any dogs that they bred out there being shown in Neuter by new exhibitors?

Opps missed this. I would go the "Identa-Pup" it will fit puppy necks 8-30cm. It gives you more room to play around with, you can always cut them shorter if you wish.

Now you just need the puppies to go with them! Puppies arrived on friday! I'm just deciding whether to use the full length of the collar or cut them down to a smaller size to fit better on their tiny necks without wrapping around 2 or 3 times. I'm currently doing shorter ones for small breeds and kittens. They will fit necks 5-20cm and be 5mm wide. Ooh how much are they? they arent listed on your website? They will be listed later on tonight

I know a few of us use a whelping box that has no floor in them, and many use a tarp to protect the carpet/floor etc. Today I came across a $2 item I thought would be ideal for floor protection at the bottom of a Whelping Box. It is a flannel backed PVC tablecloth from Coles for $2 it measures 132 x 178cm. I have tested this out today with paper underneath and I poured 1ltr of water on it, 5 hours later it has still not seeped through, by now the tarp would have leaked.
