I'm skeptical about DNA colour testing now. Not this company mentioned, but two different companies did colour testing on Great Danes. #1 was my dog - Results came back inconclusive ?? Isn't that why I paid so you could tell me 100% rather then me take a gamble. #2 a friends was told her dog was Homozygous Black (would only sire black puppies) sired a fawn puppy!!!

I am about to send some over to the UK, Japan and Finland. I had to set up a page for the O/S customers who wanted to purchase them as my site is set to ship to AU only.

I got one of these a few weeks ago when they were last on special. They are quite heavy and less then 1cm thick. I laid my arm on it, it got cooler. This was maybe a 25 degree day and my arm was cooler then the rest of my body. I have not tried it out on the dogs yet.

The idea is to contain the puppy so it's secure and does not fly about in the event of an accident/and prevent it from disturbing the driver. I can't see a washing basket or cardboard box as being of any use. Washing basket has no lid and puppy can climb out the cardboard box would crumble in seconds in an accident I imagine. I vote the harness and someone sit in the back with the puppy.

I have also been told old wives tale, I tend to believe that as i know of dogs who do it with good and bad hips. Shimmer does it, she has 0:0 hips. She also stretches off the couch and leaves her back legs up there.

Volhard Test I have also did Early Neurological Stimulation Rule of Seven and the puppy puzzle. I also had Obstacles for them to play with - Tyres, Basketballs, Hanging Ropes, Walking Beam, Tug Toys etc Toys that made noises when pressed or moved were a bit hit. From 5-6 weeks they were free to roam the house both in and out whenever they liked. We have a loud house with 3 kids and something is always happening around here.

Oh yes you did, Sale/Maffra shows would be at least 2 years ago now. :D You were set up between the gap in the main ring area. no, definitely wasn't me. The first time I showed at maffra I was with the Ellagant crew in one of the stalls right near the group 5 ring. the only other time I showed there I was there for about 45 minutes for the baby puppy class, then left. I didn't even set up. I wouldn't have a clue who you are as I have never met you. You have, another DOLer who lives up that way introduced me to you.

You drove all that way yet you don't seem to show at KCC Park, which is only 2-2.5hours from you. There is always competition there in your breed.

So do judges need to non award more often? The only problem with that is they are damned if they do, and damned if they don't.

There is a difference between a - a) 6 point champion through no fault of there own (other dogs don't turn up, rare breed etc). b) 6 point champion with several classes in group/show having beaten other dogs. c) 6 point champion going out of there way to avoid competition and not winning any classes in group/show.
