Lol thank you pebbles, trust me to have ants it wont work on, but we have lots of little black ones too so will see if I can find a nice farmer who will give me some to try out.
-
Poor puppy, I heard from a friend of mine that museling powder (used for sheep) is good for getting rid of ants. Just sprinkle some where the ants are and they dissapear. Wont hurt the dogs and they don't seem to eat it anyway. It can be purchased at a stock agent store she tells me. Im going to try it as we have lots of meat ants here.

Just a bit off topic but anyone ever wonder how our dogs survived years ago? Our dogs were fed scraps and tinned food, now there is so much choice and advice on what to feed and what not to feed.
-
I feed it to my show silkys about once or twice a week just so that they dont have a bad reaction to it when we go to weekend shows. It's easy to pack to take away with us and I prefer that to canned dog food
-
Has anyone tried Rawleys Salve on the itches, I find its great for all sorts of things, I use it all the time.
-
One of my silkys used to drag himself across the lawn, turns out he was allergic to cooch (spl) grass, not sure if you have that there but hes fine now that he's been taken off it
-
Without being dramatic mate,, but the vet did check out his heart didn't she?
-
Why not come down here,, go to a good vet, hope Mickey comes good soon.
-
I suggest just one every 3 days, puppies get very picky once they find something they really like and you need to make sure he gets a balanced diet. I change what my silky pups eat every day so they don't get too stuck on one thing.
-
I get a lot of calls for the "runt" of the litter and I usually tell them that generally they grow to be the same size as the others once they reach maturity and it's quiet possible yours will do the same.
-
I use a pair of beard trimmers to clean between pads on the silkys, they don't cut the pads but make a good job of any hair. Not expensive to buy either.
-
Can anyone tell me if this is still available, here or overseas? I used to use it all the time now I can't get it.
-
My border collie did that as a puppy but she grew out of it. She was taken to toilet about 10pm every night and first thing in the morning, only took about 2 weeks before her bladder was strong enough to hold on.
-
Try squirting him with a water bottle every time he barks,, if you can do it where he cant see you. Take him for a walk around the lake,,, bet that would tire him out,(joke). Apart from that why not take him to obedience in Victoria Park, I'm sure they have a puppy class.

My silky terrier has one and she loves it . I havent had a problem with it not treating enough, she usually gets a few bikkies out each pull, and a full ball takes her about half and hour to empty. Its definatley her favourite toy, and it only took her a couple of minutes to work out how it works.
Lol trust a Silky to work it out. Hard to confuse a Silky for long Melt!

Hey well done Jedda,, I know how your mum was stressing about your recall!! Now come and teach our Sheltie pup to do that please.
