I hate the rspca as much as most here but if you jump up and down about things that aren't true you'll quickly get written off and when you do have something factual no one will listen. The truth about them is bad enough so you don't need to cling to things that are fake it just undermines the fight.

If the sheds are in the right spot they could be better and you can wet down the concrete. The sand just heats up so much and some nights it doesn't go below 30 so it doesn't cool down.

The shade sails would be good for some part of the year but in summer that would be inadequate because the heat is just too much even in the shade.

They'll just get blocked and their posts deleted because all is hunky dory there in Moorook animal paradise, hi Moorook

Try to get that through to them, it's a pointless exercise.

Food being wasted goes back years, I would have thought they'd have sorted that issue out. Rehoming of aggressive dogs and no understanding of behaviour is one of the problems that is well known with the locals. Dogs that haven't been abused can be aggressive as we all know and just highlights the ignorance at Moorook. Until they change the save them all ideology nothing will change there. At least some people are coming out of the woodwork to tell their stories now.

Rescue gets a free pass on anything because they are SAVING LIVES!

A lot of the FB supporters wouldn't even live in the area so they are pretty clueless about how weather would affect those dogs. They are just blinded by the rescue word again and Steve is right, if it were a breeder they'd be strung up for pens like those. It's all about how the people feel, no matter what Moorook say they'll add their support so they can get their warm fuzzy feelings for the week. I really dislike the rspca but in this case they have done the right thing in regards to those yards. I can't speak for the seized dogs but I know them visiting the property has been a good thing and at least for now things will improve for the dogs there.

Going through those pics I can see hazards on a few enclosures that aren't passed. I also challenge anyone to spend a summer locked in those yards they said haven't passed. Yes they have more space but they will be extremely hot and I couldn't see any way for the dogs to escape the heat properly. Unless you have lived there you have no idea what summer is like, it's hell and nothing to have weeks on end over 40 degrees. Same goes for winter, I had a minus 7 there one morning. Don't get fooled by space, it's the first thing you learn when looking at building or improving zoo animal enclosures. A big inadequate space is no better than a small inadequate space. The dirt is also an issue as parvo is up there.

I thought they might have been cleaning up the rspca posts but doesn't look like it. I know in NSW you cannot ask for donations without a license but not sure about SA. There would have to be some restrictions on it I'd think.

Looking from a different account I could see the page by going through one of the donation pages but it is private. I'm interested because I live in SA and have been following this for a bit plus it has some far reaching consequences.

No one is talking about what they did to Clifford, the comment was it is ridiculous to say you can judge temperament from a photo alone. Which it is.

Looks like they have made it friends only, but I'm still blocked as me. It was lunacy to post all that garbage and let the rspca copy it all as well so they finally are getting smart.

Another is the blatant hypocrisy. Whining non stop about rspca deleting and blocking posts when they have done the same, blocking and deleting people, they blocked me from seeing the page :laugh: Everything was publicly available so I did nothing wrong by posting here. There is a big difference between saying don't believe everything you read without evidence and being an rspca supporter. I have some major issues with the rspca but I don't just go off half cocked with any old FB post. I'm pretty sure Sheridan doesn't work for them or support them :laugh:

I know, you just say the word rescue and suddenly you have achieved sainthood. I read so many comments that started I have never been there but I support you 100% How do they know what they have been told is true. I've been critical of Moorook but I don't expect people to blindly believe me either.

The source of the police info was never discussed. As I said, why would the police be instantly informing Moorook that they defected the rspca, very unprofessional and I never got the impression the police up there were in any way suspect. I watched it all unfold on FB that night and had my doubts. I also highly doubt the rspca would be driving around with bald tyres considering they frequently engage the police to accompany them.

I really think they'll regret pushing the rspca to the wall like this.

Moorook have denied that is the source, that one was a troll apparently and just trying to stir. Not saying it's true, just what is claimed. From Moorook's page " the person carrying on that they made the whole ting up has never contacted the page via PM- they contacted an admin from LDoA who passed on their msgs to us. However they kept changing their story- varying from they saw it on a friend status, it was that they saw it themselves, it was that they were following them as they were going to their own destination etc etc. Our posts and our information were not based on this persons accounts- they were based on local people that we trust and local businesses telling an admin on the phone who was ringing to confirm before making posts. The person carrying on about how they made it up is simply nothing but an attention seeking troll."
