  2. I like the first 1. Great depth of field and Darcy is well focused. Good job! JAG - I decided they looked ripe enough after all, they are YUM!! I just wanted to say that Jazz's tail makes one of the geese look like it has a mohawk in your signature
  3. Tried something conceptual earlier but it didn't work out at all how I'd planned so will give it a go again tomorrow. Here's today's result, pretty boring- Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens ISO: 400 Shutter speed: 1/250 F number: 2.8
  4. Thought that may be it! Thanks Flickr's set up a lot better than dA, I'm really enjoying browsing it. ETA: I'm loving this, I already have comments and invites to things! I can't believe how fast people notice you on it  I'm having so much fun on it, hehe.
  5. This is a bit embarrassing but I've never used Flickr before and someone's just posted a comment on two of my photos - how do I reply?
  6. It's pretty much B&W but it over-saturates the white - kinda like a glare. You could do it manually but PSP has a 'infrared' option. Oh okay, thanks for that Have seen some stunning infrared shots on deviantART.
  7. Brilliant shot! I love the composition, it's so effective.
  8. Shmoo and I took a walk down to Katoomba Falls today and spent the whole time taking photos. Had a difficult time deciding, I think this it my favourite of the lot- EXIF data- Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens F number: 3.2 Shutter speed: 1/200 ISO: 400 Have posted the rest I took here as there were quite a few I liked - http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=155683 ETA: Animal Mad, that's terrible  Any way they could be retrieved at a camera store do you think?
  9. Seriously huge, I'm feeling a bit annoyed with dA now  Sort of feels like photos don't meet their full potential on there. Am going to edit my signature to link to Flickr
  10. Wow, I just asked to join the group and uploaded some photos at the same time and I can't believe the quality of the thumbs when browsing my gallery! It is such an improvement on deviantART, I'm blown away. ETA: And the fullsize photos too, I really can't believe the difference in quality from one site to the next.
  11. thanks, I cropped it alot, just for interest sakes here's the original. Hey, I hope cropping is allowed. Yeah, the cropped version is much better, more detail I would assume cropping's allowed!
  12. The expression on Ewan's face is absolutely priceless, you can't help but smile at it. I think that's my favourite of the two
  13. if you have photoshop you can use the darkening brush to darken the grass or you could try the cloning brush to remove it I'll give that a go, thanks
  14. This is probably my favourite from today so far- Scarlet was under the verandah out the back trying to dig a hole to lie in and this is the look she gave me when I told her to cut it out I'm happy with it, but I'd love to be able to remove that really bright strand of grass, or at least darken it, and I don't know how to ETA: EXIF data- Canon 1000D 100mm macro lens ISO: 800 Shutter speed: 1/400 F number: 2.8 ETA 2: Had complete wrong ISO down
  15. It's continued this morning, not quite as badly, but I've made an appointment to be on the safe side. Don't actually have any Malaseb, I'll have a look around online for it. Thanks all.
  16. Thanks I had the logo portion created over at designoutpost.com and have since modified it after living with it for a while. I like it a lot now and think it works pretty well for both branches of my photography. I made the watermark bar in photoshop using the logo and some text. It's now an action in Photoshop so I can batch a whole folder or do individual shots and I've made it a droplet in Lightroom so I can do the same all in one click without having to open photoshop myself at all. Oh nice I actually just made mine a brush and apply it to photos that way, but it's much more simple than yours.
  17. That shot is incredible, Fiona! Kja, your watermark's great, did you design it all yourself?
  18. That seems to have done the trick, thanks very much guys! ETA: Oh, if it continues in the morning should I do it again?
  19. She's woken up and is still shaking it like mad Am trying the olive oil now!
