  3. Maybe we have a topic called "BLOOPERS" the amount of time I got in the face by Moses when teaching him to jump through my arms or over my arms. I am adding a new topic called animals other than dogs, I enjoy watching everyone's videos no matter what they are.
  4. Tia is 16 weeks old, I was in the yard as well. Different breeds of dogs.
  5. That sounded hilarious after the head butt. Did you get a black eye? Any videos are allowed. If you scroll through there are puppy's just being puppy's, a mental dog thread, dogs going crazy after a bath etc.
  6. Tia's brothers are 10kg and she is 8kg. They will be at the Pet Expo on Friday.
  7. We are going to start competing at flyball comps after the Feb 10th one. Figure the weather will be a lot cooler. We went to Warragul Obedience club for the herding, it is on there every Sunday and you pay a one off membership fee. Now I have to decide between herding and the Pet Expo? But we are going to the Expo on Friday anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bqf3MfSUTk
  8. Kavik what did your dog do? Yes, she is interested, I was concerned that she might rush the sheep or bite them, so was glad she didn't do that.
  9. Here is another great puppy clicker link http://www.lockeyebc.com/1_kate_pup_videos_06/clicker_clips/
  10. Something I did without realising it with Moses and Josh. Was that I would go to lots of fun days and compete in fun pet dog competitions such as best goodo eater, best trick etc. Also with Moses I trained at a few different clubs. I am taking Tia to the Pet & Animal Expo as Josh and Moses are in the flyball demo and also gundogs are fundogs demo.
  11. Thats fantastic 1st in Div 1, you can't get any better than that!!!!!!!!!! Tia had her first go at herding today.
  12. I took Tia for herding the first time today, will upload the video shortly. The guy just basically wanted her to have a look and without pressure. We did it at Warragul Obedience dog club. Okay here are Tia's Efforts, couldn't decide which video to upload so did both. It was exciting to watch. Also I am not the person in the middle with the rake. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bqf3MfSUTk
  13. Here is Tia's contribution, catching a tennis ball. Learning to Wave Waving and Marching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqhaJEOtXb4 Rollover
  14. Okay try this go to http://www.k9events.com click on enter to enter the web site, scroll down the links to O for Obedience and click on obedience for the ring, scroll down to Sue and Spinner and there you have it http://www.k9events.com/Sue_H/Spinner'sPage.htm. Okay have uploaded videos of both Moses and Tia doing kick back stands from a sit position both from at the side and in front. Have done it with both dogs so you can see it with the different sizes. Moses is very quick, so quick you can hardly see it, Tia is a lot slower. I am not too worried about what they do after they have done the stand, will work on getting the stand for a bit longer duration later. Also have Tia learning to use her rear end by use of a telephone book and Moses at the final version of the telephone book. Tia stand from sit at side http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmKGkFPz2oE Moses stand from sit at side http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONH-a0hRuLg Tia stand from sit at front http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1PQfnHVGOE Moses stand from sit at front Tia learning to work her rear end using a telephone book http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97QQHLjpWJk Moses final version of working his rear using telephone book
  15. Check out Sue Hogben and Spinner (golden retriever) competing in Utility or Open. http://www.k9events.com/Sue_H/Spinner'sPage.htm
  16. When you check out the clubs, also check out the vibes. Some clubs have lots of friendly people and dogs others are different. I tend to stay away from clubs where I hear lots of people yelling at their dogs. I am actually going to have a look at Warrigal obedience club this Sunday as they teach herding.
  17. I think because they are litter mates you should socialise them one at a time so then they don't gang up on other dogs. Or try and hide behind each other.
  18. That would of been a classis to see the dog running away with the tube.
  19. Thats great. Today I was waiting in queue with Tia it was great to have a dog that didn't know what it meant, as there was no pulling or quivering with excitement etc. I could just put two fingers on the lead to hold it.
  20. They were great.!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have put a little list of 2 cameras that are good for putting up videos on youtube.
  21. I gave Tia a little puppy run, she ran after it straight away and they slowed it down so she could see it. Tia even tried putting her nose into the orange pipe to try and find the plastic bag, and she didn't even see Moses do that. I let her watch the other dogs while I was waiting. Moses as usual ran into the blue tunnels at the end.
  22. I have a little video camera that I bought from Target called an Xacti http://www.sanyo-dsc.com/english/products/vpc_ca6/index.html It saves to a SD card, and it can do still captures and on board editing and you simply take the card out of the camera, and put it into a card reader to upload it. Nothing else needs to be done. The Warehouse are sellinga PocketDV8800 http://www.aiptek.com.tw/english/product/dv/dv8800.htm which is very similar you can record straight onto a SD card, but no still image capture or on board editing. Here are some hints on uploading to youtube. Do I have to sign up to upload videos? Yes. Since videos are attached to your profile, you must sign up as a member to upload videos. Becoming a member also allows you to save videos, create playlists, and leave comments, among many other features. How long do my videos stay on YouTube? Videos stay on YouTube until the members who uploaded them choose to take them down. Videos which violate the terms of use and have been flagged may be taken down by YouTube. How long can my video be? Most videos on YouTube are under five minutes long. There is a 10-minute length limit (unless you have a Director account). Longer videos require more compression to fit in the 100MB size limit, and the quality will go down as the length of the video goes up. What video file formats can I upload? YouTube accepts video files from most digital cameras and camcorders, and cell phones in the .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file formats. What's the best format to upload for high quality? We recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio, at 30 frames per second. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube. How long will my video take to upload? Depending on your connection speed and the size of the video, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to upload a video. Generally, if you have a high-speed internet connection you can expect the upload to take somewhere between 1-5mins for every 1MB. However, the experience is different for every user because of the variation in connection speeds. Is there a limit to how much I can upload? Currently, the only limit is 100MB and 10 minutes in length per video (there is no length limit for Director accounts). We don't have any limit for the number of videos you can upload, and don't foresee adding a ceiling anytime in the future. So get crankin' and upload as many videos as you'd like—it's more content for the whole YouTube community to enjoy!
  23. I love it, that greats, so funny. Was she trying to work out how to pull it down, as I saw her trying it out at all different angles. More videos please I want some more. LOL )) Thats great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
