How are your pups going?

I am very sorry for your situation. When her time is here she will let you know, and you will know it. It's as Isiss says "There is just something in the way that they look at you that makes your heart break, but lets you know that the time has come to let them go and that they are ready to leave you". It's heartbreaking, but you need to enjoy every day you have with her, and not think about when she is not here. My boy had a limp for about a week and I took him to the vet. He had a very agressive cancer and they gave him 3 months if they amputated his leg. I made the decision to give him his wings, and returned home without him. My girl looked for him immediately and didn't understand where he was ~ they were inseparable. Over the next couple of weeks she was with me nearly every minute I was home. I gave her lots of extra cuddles and hugs... and in time I beleive she understood he wouldn't be coming home. She lived for another 4 years and was very happy and spoiled. Sorry don't have children, so can't comment on them. Enjoy every day you have with your precious girls

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. I think Snooza products are sensational, and really worth the extra money plus they have a free repair service for their products. I have the XL raised flea free bed (for the kennel) and the XL chocolate cuddler (for inside); plus a lambswool rug for a lounge mat. My 16 week old Anatolian Shepherd loves them all, and for some reason he hasn't really chewed any of these - just everything else he can steal like my shoes. Friends have the L D1000's for their 2 Golden Retrievers and wouldn't be without them. I would think the L should suffice your gorgeous girl Martha - she looks like a real sweetie.

Hi Cassie, Yes it is and I couldn't be happier. I had to put my 13½ yo Rottie to sleep and couldn't face getting another as I miss her so much. :D So after 18 months I decided to get a different breed and a boy – she would have loved Taurus. It seems like I waited forever to get him - I even counted down the days till I could 1st visit him (at 6 weeks). Then the days till he could come home - now he's here forever. Cheers Leanne
