Oh yeah, ive been told that before, but i cant find any brindle on him whatsoever, not that it would make any difference if there was, i love him for who he is, not hes breed or colour.

im pretty sure Jax does have a black nose though....If its not black it must be a really really dark grey..

i have and never will have any intention on howing my blue stafford pup and my OH asked me why. I said to him that because you cant show them. He asked me why and i had no real reason for him! i said i think its coz blue isnt a solid colour, to which he replied but he is though (which is true, he is solid blue with only white on hes chest, no brindle whatsoever), what is the real reason? So i can stop loking like an idiot lol.

Kane has always been attatched to me and only me, im guessing because i was always the only one to feed, groom, train play. etc. Hes my dog, and my dog only. Jaxson is technically OH dog, BUT seems to follow me like a bad smell! if he has a choice between me or OH, he will choose me. OH asked me why, and I said i really dont know. How do dogs choose who they want to attatch themselvs to? Bryce feeds him and all that kind of stuff, but he still just prefers to be with me. I dont even live there! Im there about 80% of the time and OH lives there so he is with OH more then me.. How do dogs decide who to attatch themselves to?

OH weighed him for worming treatment and he came back with 30kg. I was shocked, coz my lab only weighs 25 kilos. so unless he somehow got the scales completly wrong, ive no idea....

I mean small because if you go by the breed standards he fits under bitches more then dogs. He's fit and active and doesn't eat crap food so I've no idea as to why he weighs so much

umm..... mum was a good looking bitch, cant quite remember how tall she was but i doubt she was over the standard height Dad was short and stocky. i dunno what their weights were, but they were both fit looking dogs

Our other Staffod who is 7, weighs in at 30 kilos! hes not fat at all, and is actually on the small side for a male. hes just ne big ball of muscle..

Thanks Gayle, Nah i dont think hes fat either, but hes just getting so heavey so fast! hes not getting fed anymore then normall....

ill see if ive got a recent one. Hes well covered, but i think its just normall puppy fat....

Jaxson is my first stafford puppy so im not too sure how much he should weigh. he is exactly 4 months today and he weighs 10 kilos! i dint think he looks fat, only puppy fat. is this too much for my puppy to weigh?

yeahs she was, she was grabbing hold whever she could and shaking her head. They would have to pry open her jaw for her to let go.

i had this discussion with my council one time before because the same lady would walk her dog offlead everyday and it would always come running up to me and Kane and i was worried about Kane attacking this dog. I was told that if my dog attacked the off lead dog, i wouldnt be held accountable because the other dog must be restrained or under command while out walking in public.

if the red pup got a hold of a pup she would leave puncture marks, she would grab hold and not let go.

a mate of mine just finished puppy school at her local vet and she told me there was a 12 week old red staffy pup there that was aggressive, growling and biting all the other puppys, going for them if they came near her. I was shocked when i heard about it, its quite sad really My 14 week old staffy had hes first interactions (except for the 2 dogs he lives with) last saturday. He loved it! I kept him away from all dogs except our other 2 until he was fully vaccinated incase of disease etc and seeing as though we live abou half an hour out of town he didnt even see them around, but he was still far from aggressive and he was surronded by heaps of dogs and puppies, all of which were bigger then him. Breeding and handling definatly play a very big role in puppies behaviour i believe.

Ive taken Jaxson to quite a few places, to get him used to being oout in public and stuff like that. He has been in my old corolla, my bfs VZ ute and bfs charade and has never once been sick, even on the 2 and a half hour trip from breeders house to our house, hes never once been sick. Ive rcently bought a new car, Jax has been on a few 10 minute drives in this car since i bought it and has been fine. Today I took him for a half hour drive and then on the way home he thew up all threw my car! I was just wondering, do different cars make dogs have different reactions? Hes not sick, has been fine since he threw up....

thanks! the pics dont really do him justice! The introductions are going pretty good. Stanley(red staffy) wasnt a fan, didnt hurt him or anything, just growled and stayed away fdrom him. But they play together and sleep together now so all is fine. Todd(blue heeler) is about 14 now and has a fear of small animals due to having ferrets hanging off him lol. He hasnt met Kane yet, as Kane lives at my poarents house and Jax lives at bf's house.

little porker is already weighing in at 5 kilos at only 11 and a half weeks old and is starting to develop a fair sized head too. We had a few dramas the weekend after we bought him home, he ate somehing outside that disagreed with him and caused him to have severe belly pains took him to the vet and she gave him a pain killer and thankfully hes been fine ever since.
