My turn-yesturday at the same trial as you. Am-was so nervous, Kane picked up on it and did absolutly NOTHING!!!! Pm- much better, failed due to my own fault.

Does anyone here belong to that club? Or has anyone entered in the trial held at that club on november the 8th? I need to send my entry but the VCA website isnt working so I cant find the address of where I need to send it to. Thanks in advance. Dani

. Dont worry, I know what you mean. Their is only 4 people I have had help me with trialing stuff, but thankfully they really were helpfull Benson has improved alot with hes focus on you lately. I dont have to work on Kanes focus on me, becasue anyone that has met Kane knows he spends he's whole time watching me. If i knoew how I had gotten that I would tell you but I have no idea. Thats just how he's always been. I think that how your getting Bensons attention works though so keep going. Did you get Roz to put you through the ring after class today? I left early so didnt see. She put me through before class today. Yeah that wasnt so great. Kane just refussed to drop. Little butthead. and yet when i went to class he dropped. hmm go figure. Dont worry. you and I will both make fools of ourselves together.lol. Only kidding.

Yeah i know, how crap is that? had to use $1 worth of stamps the other day to send off one envelope coz I had no 5cent ones left. The instructor told me that I could give them a ring closer to the date but they may have to sort through a lot of crap and i dont wanna be a pain.

I sent off my entry for the Knox obediance trial last wednesday. This will be my first trial so not sure about something. I got told that I didnt need to send a self addressed envelope with my entry like with show entries so I didnt but at obediance class on sat an instructor told me that I should always send one with obediance trials as well, so was wondering which was the right way to go>?

What are titre tests?

1) shes only a baby 2) Shes a goldie, thats pretty much just how they are. When shes a little older and had more training it will settle down, but the breed just love people and other dogs.

Both our dogs eat alot of grass. At first I thoughtit was coz Kane had grown up with my horses and thought he was a horse.lol. Off topic to the pregnancy thing- I know someone who used to crave eating dirt and sand, so bad that she used to want to lick the footpath and eating handfulls of it. The doctor told her to eat non toxic chalk so she ate chalk during her pregnancy!

Sometimes grass has a water type substance in it so dogs eat it instead of drinking if there is no water around

I have always loved photography so Ive decided that for christmas I'll be getting a SLR from mum and dad. Only thing is that both mum and dad wouldnt have a clue what cam to buy and I dont really either. So does anyone have an suggestions on what would be a good one to buy? P.s. I always pick out my bday and xmas presents so wouldnt matter if I knew what it looked like anyway.

How long until Dusty starts training? Did you find a vet to do the needles?

Same here except we didnt have ours for 14 years. She died when she was 10 due to stress of moving ;)

i treat for the recall, sit stays (coz sitting in the one spot for a few minutes at a time is VERY hard for kane.lol) and i use treats when we are doing the weaving so it distratcs him from maybe taking a bite at the other dog goin past.

in beginners you can use them as much as you want. the higher you go the less the instructors like you usung treats. but i still do.

Phase out the treats as they learn the command and give different commands often so they just get used to doing what they're told when they're told to do it. haha im in class 3 now and im STILL using treats.

Gayle-im gonna need you to help in a few months. im picking out a really good camera for my bday and so i wanna know what you think would be the best brand to buy and what softwear and stuff im gonna need.

my sisters bf has 2 dogs. he went to melb yesturday and returned last night to find the eldest one, sissy was extremly sick, hadnt eaten or dranken anything and couldnt move. couldnt even move to go to the toilet so was just doing it where she was laying. being as late as it was (bout 1) there was nothing they could really do so made her as comfortable as possible. she made it through the night so first thing this morning was taken to the vet to see what happened. turned out she had a massive stroke and there was nothing anyone could do for her. she was pts around 10. she had a good innings, was about 15. RIP sissy little mate. hope all is good for you and you are happy now

sitting here tryin to hold back tears after seeing the pics of choppa and you little boy. am very sorry to hear about your loss. i hope you dont mind me asking but what happened to him? he was still young and should still be here
