Are training clubs accepting Titre Testing now? I'm training away from a club at the moment because I don't believe in annual vaccinations.

Perth use to have a team called the K9 Flyers I think. I think there's enough interest to warrant starting a flyball club here. I'd join for sure.

There's no flyball clubs in Perth as far as I know .

Is there any Perth people interested in a Rally-O seminar? I thought if there was enough interest it could be held at the canine grounds. This is from 'angelsun'. Tiggy: If you can get your obedience club to organize it (it's not necessary but I have found that it is much easier to let the club do the organizing and registration as well as finalize my details) let me know. I've got not too busy of a calendar over the next while (forget October, it's totally SHOT!) I have an outline for the seminar that I send to the clubs interested that gives details in what I do, what everyone will be doing and what is needed for me to be able to teach it. We are still working very hard to get this recognized and I know that the follow up from some of the clubs has been wonderful. We are still working on getting more clubs to host the seminar, in order to spread the word of this fantastically fun sport!

Is there any chance of Rally-O coming to WA? I hope so .

The people with large dogs have it so easy with the dogs head up near their hand. I've just taught my Stafford Banjo to catch food so I don't lean down to him and he's heeling beautifully. He loves catching the food and it's got his focus up. What do other short dog owners do?

I put my treats in my pocket today. It wasn't even gross . I just need some pants with deeper pockets because I had a huge bulge .

I also thought a good reason for carrying treats in your pockets is you can't wear a treat pouch in the ring so at least this way the dog doesn't know you're not carrying treats like if it was use to seeing you with a treat pouch when training.

I tend to fumble around too much if I have them in a bag .

I've noticed alot of trainers carry their treats in their pocket rather than a treat pouch. Okay so I want to give this a go because I feel like a big dork wearing my treat pouch down to the park but how gross does your pocket get . I use moist treats like sausage which aren't going to leave crumbs but I guess you get an oily pocket. Sorry if this is a silly post .

did you have a staffy with you ? I was cuddling a big solid staffy, just looking at your avatar. Yes that was me and my Staffy Banjo . He got a few cuddles. He loved it. I think I saw you and was going to come over in the break but you disappeared But then again I didn't wanna say "hey are you from DOL?" and get a weird look in case you weren't I saw you to. Ruby was very well behaved sitting quitely in her crate. I had to keep feeding Banjo treats to stop him screaming :D .

I learnt to watch the dogs feet in stays not the dogs face. Sue said most people underpay their dogs which I now realise I was guilty of so more food/play rewards. I'm going to work on our release to.

I really enjoyed the seminar today. It was so cold though my hands were blue . I'm feeling very motivated .

I was just wondering who's going to the Sue Hogben seminar on Saturday? I'm coming with Banjo. I'm a bit nervous because we're nowhere near trialling level . I'm looking forward to it though .

The Ziwipeak dog food is excellent . It's an air dried jerky not a kibble. I feed about half Ziwipeak and half raw.
