  1. Mine are in the kitchen. They are rather amuzed by us travelling past them all day and eating dinner with beady eyes watching over us.
  2. No worries here, actually a good question to ask. This morning 5.45am my pups were woken by the cat....grrr. Let them out for toileting and interaction time with mum & dad as they were rather loud. However mum comes flying up rolls onto her side and demands that she is allowed to feed them. They have been weaned for 2 weeks, she has a tiny dribble of milk left in her and so I've got to lock her up which then starts the barking and wakes the entire house up. I've spent the morning freezing my bum off outside watching little puppies play, poo and wee. Came back in and cleaned the pen and now sitting down eating breakfast. All in a days work.
  3. My answer is No. Why put yourself in a position that would tie your name to such a byb or puppyfarmer?
  4. Pups eight weeks old this week. Ours were weaned off at 6 1/2 weeks, we have interaction with mum & dad every day for 30minute sessions x 3 times a day. Have to be careful though mum still has milk and pups will go to all means to get on the milk wagon. I'm home all day so they get lots of human interaction and enjoy playing with my kids too.
  5. They sure do like to run! Wow look at them go. I'm a bit concern for my blk/tan miss she is very sleepy today, currently curled up in the far corner of the puppy pen next to the food bowls. Her siblings are all playing loudly so its a case of odd puppy.
  6. Back from the vets, all puppies are now vaccinated and microchipped with a clear bill of health. Sent in the pedigree litter form today, hopefully get the papers back soonish. Puppies due to leave us as from 1st Aug.
  7. Tomorrow 9am for us. Hopefully no vomits or rear end movements for us. Hubby comes home and scoops up are tiny blk/tan puppy and takes her away to watch tv. I say what about the other puppies, nope he likes the fact that she curls in and falls asleep in the palm of his hand. Gee they have been full on today, race around the house like mad idiots, worn themselves out.
  8. Thats good news Team Sang. I let mine outside this morning and they all toileted on the grass....yippee. Isn't funny how the cheapest toys are offen the best. Empty paper towel roll, they love them. Also have the kids adding their toys and some kitchen utensils are adding to the play pen. lol..
  9. Holly crap..... how scary. Glad all is ok and that there wasn't to much damage.
  10. I have sold my 3 babies, could of a few times over. I just waiting on the lady in Melbourne to call me back and arrange a meeting date for Chanel. The boy is off near my home town to a great family with kids and my other girl (Shari) is going local retired couple and as you know Mystic is staying on with us. Well i jinks myself. Had to take my oldest out to specalist appointments today and it took alot longer than expected. I was gone for 4 hrs in total, leaving plenty of food and refreshments for the pups. By the time i got home we had a rather smelly poo pen with smelly puppies. Definately bathing this weekend as they are on the nose at present. :D
  11. Oh you poor buggers, i do feel for you. Even with my toddler waking up at 4am throwing a "i'm not going back to sleep tantrum" the pups slepted through and we just deal with wet puppy pen floor in the morning. But although i've just cleaned the pen you will find it shreaded and torn training pads, little floppy ear monsters! I will say though mine don't eat alot, they drink heaps but there is always leftovers in the food bowls after meals. We have a 1/2kilo difference in weight, boy weighs in at 1650grms, blk/tan has just tipped 1100grms.
  12. Oh good you got it then. Thanks for the loan, appreciated it.
  13. 3 meals a day, have kibble available all day and fresh water. Meals consist of mince, roast chicken, small raw bones, puppy milk, pal puppy & cheese. Bed time is around 8pm, mum will come in and let them feed, all are asleep and they don't wake till 7am. No poos till i let them out for a play, then we are on cleanup duty. After playtime and I've cleaned the pen they go back in for morning sleep. No more mum as of this week, pups are 7 weeks old so we'll see if that routine still works!
  14. Seriously need a bath but it's too cold.
  15. Ok, so I'm way to soft on the weaning process. My biggest concern is the blk/tan pup. She feels the cold and currently has the sneezes. She is still way smaller than her siblings and i stress over her. She is happy and very palyful but i will be definately be watching over her to assure she is warm and comfortable. She does drink water along with her smaller ruby sister. Its just the bigger two who think walking through the bowl of water it is the idea The others are porkers, still not keen on puppy kibble but there is always food and fresh water available.
  16. I'm hearing you team snag, however most of mine will hold off till i open the puppy pen up in the morning and go on the kitchen floor... They are all in need of a bath they stink! Newpaper and training pads are getting ripped to pieces and it's a consent job replacing them. First night without mum, however demanded to have her for breakfast this morning as i'm out of puppy milk.
  17. Happy belated Birthday Wishes tlc & pandii's daughter.
  18. I don't like weaning. Babies are crying for their mummy. Mum wants to be with them too so she is also its a battle. We have reduce access till 2 times. Once at lunch time and we allow her to be with them at night. Lunch time feed will stop at the end of this week. Night time feed will stop next week. Gee wizz they have that true puppy smell going on.
  19. And it's the name they respond to the best. lol.. Have names picked out but waiting to get them microchipped and send numbers off all together. They are booked in on 23rd July to have the vac shots and chipping done, mum included. Weaning isn't going as according to plan, still very much dependant on mum. Weather has been cold wet and terrible here, no outside time today. Instead one on one time with the family.
  20. I was lucky enough to come by Gold and silver laced Wyandottes fertile eggs and decided to run with those instead as they were my first choice. A couple of Australorp might fill the dozen as they are unsure if they will have enough wyandotte eggs as most chooks are only just starting to come back on the lay. Very happy now, just got to wait for them to be layed and posted and we'll get the incubator going over the weekend in preparation. Ok, back to dogs. Puppies are all coming along well. I do have a concern regarding ones bite, its rather overshot and i've got my fingers and toes cross that it will correct. They are all healthy happy playful puppies, with puppy breath...eww.. Driving me nuts, nah... they are cute. 6 weeks today... gulp. We have another dose of sick kids, my youngest has come down with her sisters virus and it is a great misable household at present. Puppies are good help with amuzing the misable sods.
  21. On the subject of chooks, going to have another go at incubating. I'm buying in double laced barnevelder eggs, pekin batams, and i can't make up my mind on the third....australorp, light sussex or rhode Island reds? Any suggestions?? :p If successful i will sell the excess stock, but we are having a shuffle here with new chook pens going up and kids won't have to worry anymore as they will be full enclosed. ;) :p
  22. It is great how the pups love the first outdoor experience. Problem is they want out all the time now. lol. I've got one girl drinking water, eating kibble and is really good on the meat solids. While her sisters and brothers are not interested as much in the finer dining, they rather mum. Which is causing me headaches as she still wants to be with them 24/7 and today i decided it is a case of locking her out for "time out time" and reduce access to them so they get a slight bit hungry and might actually eat and drink the stuff i have provided. Such a good mum, She is still cleaning up their toileting movements and plays with them and is rather protective of the little buggers. Here are the lastest photos of the pup we intend to keep.
