  1. Sammy I think you said it all, you live in Cessnock LOL
  2. I don't tend to post much these day but I wanted to answer your question. There is no way my dog would have passed that assessment, and what dog do I have you ask, a Tenterfield terrier...
  3. I am VERY paranoid about parvo with my pup and don't take him anywhere other than the following. He has been to the vets once since I've had him to have the desexing stiches out, and he comes to work, we haven't had another other dogs other than our own for over a year at work. He has been coming now for 3 weeks and there hasn't been a problem (touch wood), he gets to meet other people just no dogs although I still have reservations about people coming in that may have been places that have parvo and will bring it in on their shoes. He starts puppy school this week and has his last/3rd injection at the end of last week. I have been told though that because it is so dry parvo doesn't last long out here, don't know if that is fact or fiction.
  4. Pawprints, I'm in exactly the same position and have come up with exactly the same conclusions I'm getting the 42" for my new pup as he's a lab x cattle x which should suit him perfectly as he grows. I'm going to do the same, buy a small pad to fill half and leave the other half just in case accidents happen, cheaper buying new pads than whole new crates. What type of crate are you going for? I think I've decided on a Petmate Deluxe, they are $100 more than the others but the stability is there that the others don't have.
  5. going on the info supplied I would pick B to buy for my dogs, is B the more expensive product? I look at the full content of all products and if they are the same or similar I buy what is cheapest.
  6. ECO2000 IS FANTASTIC I use it on my horses and dogs, I've also heard lots of stories of it being used on very sensitive dogs that come up in lumps from even the supposed best natural dog specific shampoos. forgot to add: you use very little (it doesn't lather) so it is very worth it.
  7. Although I don't think it's a crock of **** I do think that a dog would have to eat a HUGE amount and over a period of time to die. My terrier used to get into my chocolate and lollies all the time and nothing ever happened, I didn't do it on purpose just forgot how crafty she is sometimes. Now I live in a different set of circumstances and it never happens, I also don't feed my dogs any chocolate or lollies AT ALL but I've never heard of anyone's dog dying from eating chocolate either.
