Tassie you should have seen the look I got when I mentioned UD! LOL!

Was just wonderful Sue. Just so pleased for you, a lovely way to finish off the season and a title. Well done both of you.

That look was based on how long it took to get the 3 CDX passes rofl1.gif but thanks for the congratulations. I am still smiling!

A huge congratulations Sue. See perseverance pays off, and a bloody good sense of humour when it does not go quite to plan.

So ..yes sense of humour when things don't go to plan ..definitely a prerequisite for UD :-)

Ah yes... A sense of humour and a supply of cider!

 Ah - maybe it's the cider that's the secret ingredient I need.

That is how Dawn used to get through out of sight stays.

And remembering to breathe while in the ring is apparently important as well

Great advice. No food in the ring....are out of sight hides part of the ring? A stash of cider?rofl1.gifcheers.gif

Waldo gained his 2nd CDX pass today in hot and windy conditions. 2nd in ring with a score of 183. We lost 10 for heeling as RAT & LAT appeared to have disappeared form his repertoire. rofl1.gif

:cheer: Nice one, Sue and Waldo. Funny how things can disappear

I've noticed this disappearing problem! Very odd!

  5. Homecoming.....crazy then stuff you and watched the footy with my daughter.

Sorry you r unwell. I am looking forward to daylight saving as well.

I did a session of obedience today. Warmed up with restrained recall. Put the lead around a pole. Took Waldo second go to work out running around the pole before I could get far enough away. Did hide and seek which went well.

    Was thrilled with his work.

    Sue

  6. Report dog to dog aggression to Council and person to person aggression to the police by calling 000. Not only take photos or video but get a number plate. As much Id. info as possible. Dogs names, colours, note any id. points for the owner (scars, tattoos, habits, limps) etc. it must be reported and report early before the incident escalates. In the meantime contact the Council and alert them of the situation, asking what they would like you to do. Don't ask what to do but what to do but what the complaint process is. This sounds weird but you are letting council know that you intend to report and expect that they will act on this.

Waldo was in Open at the Victorian State Championship. Our first pass with a score of 180. And we won the ring. A huge difference from our last trial 2 weeks ago. A nervous dog who broke every stay has become a bouncy happy dog who was jumping out of his skin to work. Not even a very wet ring put him off...apart from high elbows in distance control.

I was thrilled for you & Waldo ! I know several bouts of lameness caused delay in your training program over the past year. I think you & Waldo made a lovely team & looked absolutely gorgeous in Winner of Winners run offs He is a credit to your kind patient handling & training. Well done!

Thanks so much Linda. Would not have done it without you. Lost count how many times you had to remind me about timing & footwork. Not so sure I looked gorgeous though! laugh.gif
