  1. Congratulations on the new arrivals. Yay KritalJay, glad today is the day for you! Everyone sounds like they're doing pretty good with sleeping and toilet training. Very impressive. I'm noting it all down for when we get our puppy. I think our current girl was pretty good to train - well, I can't remember it being bad anyway! Keep the photos coming, I just LOVE them. If I had my way I think I could have a dog of every breed!
  2. Very cute puppy MavericksMission! I too might have a longer wait than I want. I spoke to the breeder the other night and USS only showed two puppies and I think I'm further down the list. I couldn't believe how disappointed I felt. I can't imagine how you feel waiting for years!! We're looking at a miniature poodle (we already have a JRT and she is just perfect). I was after a dog that didn't shed too much and less likely to cause allergies, smallish, smart, easy to train, full of life, gets on well with other animals and a poodle is what I came up with. I'm a bit nervous (to say the least) about grooming a poodle (only a bit of light stripping with a JRT) but that is the only down side. Great question Blue Fairy and I have to say I have a very soft spot for all those "squashed in faces" breeds ie pugs, Bostons - just gotta love those smoochy faces.
  3. I love everyone's updates. JaxD - Badger is a real little terrier, isn't he? My JRT (Lily) is 8 now but still a puppy at heart. FD26 love your little Joker, a real cutie.
  4. Red Ruby - those pictures are absolutely priceless!! I just want to smooch that gorgeous little baby belly in the last photo!
  5. Littlehoot, Lola is beautiful!! It sounds like she is being a very good girl. Sorry about your car.
  6. Welcome home Ruby and Lola (I just LOVE everyone's name choices). The pics of Ruby and Winston are just gorgeous. Can't wait to see pics of Lola.
  7. That must have been a tough decision Didles - I hope it all goes well now for little Winston (my mum had a Winston - Winnie for short) - I just love that name.
  8. Oh Didles, I'm so sorry - this must be so hard on you and your family. Hugs.
  9. Hi everyone, I've been reading this thread from when it was first posted and boy, there sure have been some ups and downs! Firstly I just want to say to Didles - congratulations, that is so wonderfully exciting for you and your kids are going to be over the moon. Good luck to all those who are getting pups in the next couple of days - I can just feel your excitement. I am maybe waiting for a puppy. I would like to add a miniature poodle to our family (one Jack Russell and two Siamese cats) but I have to convince my DH and DS yet! We're going to visit a breeder in a few weeks just to see her dogs and have a talk. She may have a bitch pregnant, due sometime in March. So even though I'm not sure yet about a puppy I'm going to just join on in. There's been lots of good information and it's just so exciting to hear about everyone's puppies.
