How was the movie?

I'm looking for some durable and safe toys for my dog.
Currently I have 2 Kongs, a tug rope toy, a squeaky bottle (with the safe squeaker) AND a plush rainbow thing with unsafe squeakers (which is only used for supervised play time.
At the moment the yard is awash with the guts of the cheapo toy my sister in law gives her dogs (which in turn obviously get shared with all the dogs.) I want something safe for my dog to play with. Any ideas??

I think Esky is a fan of spitz breeds. She likes lappies (except the humpy one) and mals.
But she also has a boxer as a best friend, those two could zoomie until the cows came home!
I think it has more to do with the energy levels they can sense from the other dog.
Her best friend in puppy class was a Jack russell terrier. They were a cute pair.

I know a show breeder, who has his mallies and lappies on Bonnie with raw meats added.
They are all in great condition.
It is just a matter of what does it for you.
-
That has to be one of the cutest things
Esky still does it heaps

Great News!!
Charlie is a little miracle dog
-
I found it by mistake on Sunday. Esky had a drink.
If you drive to the Goolwa train station and park there it is easy to walk too.
Walk across the train tracks, take a right onto the wharf . Keep walking that way. The wharf will end and turn into a path. You will find the war dog memorial on that path. You'll know you've gone to far when the path turns into a road.

Such epic photos!!

What are you doing in Adelaide Bonnie?
If we know where you are going/ what you are planning to do, it may be easier to find something suitable.

Wow this site is very cool!!

My "family" free feed.
That is, as soon as a bowl is finished they refill it
Since I live with them at the moment, it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep Esky on her raw diet.
And yes it pisses me off big time

Don't bring balls/toys, or if you do, only use them if you are the only one there.
Check that dogs inside the park are friendly before entering (ask their owner).
Be wary of the sizes of dogs in the park, a bigger dog could hurt your dog by accident. (didnt even see him there)
SUPERVISE!

My understanding was that it is/was illegal to take a debarked dog out in public, since it is missing it's first 'line of defence'.

did u just volunteer?
would be good for a laugh
Well kinda
I was just comparing Gayle's prices of DOL adds that state price to BYB prices advertised on a highly popular site (highest prices shown)
So far we have:
Akita $1000 pet $1500 show BYB b$1200
American Cocker Spaniel $300 (older pup, may be reduced price) byb $300
American Staffordshire Terriers $600.00 byb-$1000
Australian Cattle Dog $700.00 $500
Bassett Hound $1,400 BYB $1300
Beagle $950.00 BYB 700
Belgian Shepherd $700 BYB 545
Border Collie $800 BYB $800
Considering having registered breeders is like having a lifetime warranty, it definitely not worth what you save in the short term over the course of a dogs life.
-
She missed a lot of breeds, because she is only listing those that state a price in their litter advertisements.
What would be an awesome test would be to get pictures of a pedigreed litter and pictures of a BYB litter of certain breeds.
Then go up to people and ask them
a) Where do they think this puppy came from
b) How much they think it would cost
Would be very interesting to see how some people respond

Congrats guys

So, does anyone want to come live in my imaginary dog friendy DOL members only town yet?
People suck!
I feel like walking a panther around some days, just to see if people will think twice about letting their dogs run up to me!
-
Can you take them with you wherever you are going?
Maybe a REALLY generous foster carer could be found, to look after them until they find forever homes?
-
Esky is a freak, she'll pick chillis off the bush and eat them as if they were nothing.
And believe me they are HOT!
She didn't have any problems after she ingested them, but every dog is different, so I can't speak for all of them.
I have sprayed bitter bite on the chilli bush and hope she doesn't eat any more.
Your dog should be fine though
-
I wonder if he uses his 'exercise, discipline affection' mentality with his women?

Esky's littermate Wynne is going to be on the cover of Purina Pro plan very soon
