  1. Its very odd as as a pup in front of me is how i taught the drop thats how we learnt it in class. Iv been very conscious to do it both positions with pup
  2. My lab had it for a few months and it went away on its own. All in his mouth, no idea where he got it
  3. He is quick when next to me but if im in front of him he is slowed up? I guess Its something i really need to work on more, i will try say too bad if he is slow but then he may offer another behaviour, guess we will see tomorrow....
  4. Lol i will pass i spend all day unpacking stuff at work ;)
  5. Ok iv done that ( was suggested at club ) but he is slow to respond??

  9. Try these: http://www.boomerangtags.com/collartags.php They don't scratch, last forever and are not expensive. Postage to Australia is $2 and normally takes about 10 days. Now thats a better idea. Not having another dangling dog tag to add to the collection of registration and microchip tag. Thanks for the link. My 2 have these after 5 months they dont have a scratch on them, very happy
  10. I have 2 show leads now that are going to go to waste i must give u my Parfait slip lead RS
  11. Why is crating him worse when he is growing? I would think limping would be worse because then he is building muscles unevenly Would be nice wouldn't it! Here's hoping for Powerball tonight! I managed to take Banjo for a 750m bike ride and Varda for a 500m bike ride last night  That was their first go biking though Will start building up distance now :D Im not sure of all the reasons but was advised by the chiro not to do it. Touch wood for all his stiffness ( its more stiffness) than a limp his muscles are not uneven, i keep getting them checked. Think i may try Some bowen for him too
  12. Brave u to walk those distances!! Its so darn hot here i only did one lap of the park and came home this AM
  13. Very unusual for a pup to be that small, litter size is not really going to make a pup that tiny, there were 10 in my boys litter he still weighed a good 7 kgs at 8 weeks
  14. I do batches, i soak enough for 2 days worth for both dogs and then after it being out on the counter for 12 hrs i put it in the fridge :)
  15. My Mason also struggles with very fatty meats, i guess thats why he does quite well on roo
  16. Think I'll stick to cooking and mushing my own veges. Sounds far too complicated for me. You soak the food, then you don't, then you soak the food ... I pulped my own veg etc, and when i bought everything to make my veg slop it works out very expensive, way more than the Complete Mix. It really isnt hard at all to use VAN even a mumbling fool could do it, you add 1 cup complete mix to one cup of water, not exactly rocket science. No one is trying to convince you to use VAN anyway.
  17. Do you know exactly when it is? I might be interested although if it is a take dogs thing mine wouldn't be happy during the day Posted on WA Click: Just to remind those club secretaries and other interested people, the places available for the Rally O seminar for club instructors and handlers on Sunday 5 February 1pm - 7.30pm is closing next Friday 27th January. After that date there will be no other places filled. Sooooo if you are interested I would suggest you contact me asap and not leave it till the last day. FYI The GSDA have kindly donated their grounds for the weekend and are going to a great deal of trouble to ensure that food will be available, ie afternoon tea as well as 'dinner' at 5.30pm. For those who have already booked, can you please forward your money to me asap to finalise your place at the seminar. Valeta More info: The cost of the seminar for handlers is $20, payable to DogsWest, or cash. Please send to me. I am hoping to have a disc and paperwork for every handler, hence the cost. I am also hoping that everyone will support the GSDA by purchasing food from their canteen. On the Sunday afternoon, judges will be putting up some courses so that after a short dinner break, handlers can work the courses. Should be a lot of fun for everyone. Valeta I emailed and they said only experienced Rally O people not total newbies so im not bothering
  18. I know its a bitch!! And keepng him in a crate while he is growing is worse for puppies so crate rest is out he is a lot better after 2 days of beng quiet and just swimming so guess we will see
  19. I know he slipped in kitchen again on fri night, then ran straight into mason on saturday and got dunked by a wave on sunday. After his swimming this arvo its loosened up but im still not happy about the whole thing.
  20. I still thinl he has the most beautiful face ever!!! Poor mite is limping again, he got so badly bashed and rolled by a wave on sunday
  21. Did the breeder check him out recently? It wasn't that long ago you said you were entering him in the Classic :) Yup took him down on saturday and he met his daddy. His tail set is too low down hs back it should be higher, i suppose it could change again but highly unlikely i guess
