  3. A friend of mine tried to get her dog to eat a certain food for 2 months, he just picked at it, eventually changed foods and now no hassles at all....
  4. Yup there is one in Mandurah and soon one in Currambine i believe
  5. Katie they should be finished teething around 6 months or so..
  6. The Earthborn Kibble has barley in ( grain) which is why Mason couldnt eat it after awhile but i was very happy with it. Wouldnt mind giving it a go for Gibbs
  7. In case anyone is interested its the Big Dogs Breakfast this sunday ( used to be Salty Seadogs Breakfast before) its at Mt Lawley from 10am Joel Terrace Banks Reserve i think it is will check. Went the last 2 years it was fun. Probably will pop in after class on sunday
  8. My one gets hufe hotspots where nothing helps besides antibiotics. I would take him to a dermatologist and get their opinion. I spray mine with something daily to prevent hotspots from forming but only avalable through the dermatologist. ETA the Pyohex did nothing to help my fog

  10. I had a bad experience with a dog that needed a new home ( he was only 8 months) so i dont think i would ever try that again but thats just me, may give it a go if the dog was to be an only dog but not while i have other dogs to consider

  13. Well i had Gibbs checked out to make 100% sure as he had a cough or 2 last week but Gibbs does not have KC. He is fixed again after his acupuncture, hurt a different spot on his leg on saturday
  14. Oh and about the meet at your place Mirawee, I cant bring my two unless there is a way for them to cool off in summer, both feel the heat too badly

  16. I also recommend insurance, i had 6 weeks free with Gibbs, at 11 weeks old he broke a k9, had to see an emergency vet, get it xrayed , $600 later..spent about $6000 on the other on allergies
  17. Some labs can be great with kids, if you had gotten one from Masons lines there would be no issue i dont think he is really gentle not jumpy etc... But can be excited around other dogs.... Fast forward to Gibbs and he couldnt be around kids - just too bouncy and rough but not mouthy.. I was looking for a lab pup this year, couldnt get away with anything under $1350 for a pup in WA....
  18. Lol well Gibbs wont growl at the judge, he does have a broken tooth, stained jaw ( from red bathmat) so lets see if he is even good enough to enter
  19. We started doing some nightfill hrs so im pretty screwed when it comes to some weeknights not sure if it will be every week now until xmas or what)...
  20. RV the 13th was supposed to be Gibbs' first show but iv had cold feet cant get down to show handling class and im too afraid to go in the ring until i do

  22. I use Permoxin diluted in spray bottle - dermatologist recommended it for my boy who is allergic to insect bites so it must be pretty good
  23. Key question how much of everything are you feeding per day??
