  4. Wow this is a georgeous Brittany
  5. We will be there with bells on, still recovering after Noorat though!!!!!!
  6. I couldnt belive it today when I heard the John & Ang were not allowed to take their truck to Noorat shows and that the other vendor had requested and got sole rights. You would have thought that the clubs concerned would have benefited from multi vendors paying site fees etc, and not only that, given us exhibitors a choice from who we buy from.
  7. Only the Mt Elephant has been banked for me
  8. I was amazed to find the March show schedules online the dogs vic website today.... now to plan our May show outings :)
  9. Oh Amy our heartfelt sorrow to you and your family. RIP Keisha
  10. Hi Amy, There is a Facebook site Geelong lost and found, maybe you can post there as well, I cross posted to some of the horse forums I am on and someone suggested that. Our fingers are crossed you find her quickly. Rhonda & Steph

  12. I have been to shows where the forecast was 37 the day before, but it didn't reach anywhere that on the day, I think it should be up to the individual if they want to show or not, last Sunday at kcc park got to 36, but it wasn't forecast. Hard to determine what the weather is going to be these days
  13. Help!!! our puppy lab 12 months of age has just finished her first season, and now looks like she is having phantom pregnancy, no male dogs are here and she was locked up. what can we do, this is my daughters show dog and we have entered 14 shows in the next two months, she will be heartbroken is she cant show
  14. I have a powered site at the motel, I am canceling if that helps
  15. Hi Zensu, There is not much to really choose from, the motels in Cohuna were booked out three weeks go and so was the caravan park, there were still cabins at Barham/Koodrook last week, it's about 23kms away
  16. Hi there, I know the show secretary has moved, if you contact Kathy Humphries, she is the show sec for lots of show she may have the number you are after
  17. Hi folks, I am amazed by the amount of women wearing very short skirts in the show ring, and bearing all for everyone to see when they bend over to tend to their dogs. Found this article from a professional handler thought it was appropriate. The handler should be appropriately dressed to show the dog to it's best. Be clean, neat and presentable in the ring. Help your dog to not "blend in" to what you are wearing. A male judge can be compromised by the exhibitor's mode of dress. If a female wears clothes that are revealing, short or immodest and then by chance has the best dog, the judge may be compromised by awarding that dog with a win. Dress nicely but not as if it were a fashion show, wear comfortable, nice looking shoes appropriate for running. Dress modestly, the dog should be the focal point, not you

  20. Hi, I was one of the exhibitors that double parked on side of roadway while unloading and loading, I am badly in need of a shoulder reconstruction, my other reco is only 12 months old and I really struggle carrying my gazebo and crates etc long distances, once we were unloaded, I moved my car straight to the carpark
  21. Hi I have an Oztrail Deluxe 3m x 3m. I can put it up on my own, I peg one leg to the ground and jiggle it until its spread out. Downside is it is heavy and can be difficult to handle, but i wouldnt buy a smaller one as we have heaps of room for three large crates two chairs & can share if anyone else wants to.

  23. Hi Blitz3, I think the presentation of the handler is just as important as the presentation of the dog. I was told years ago by a professional handler to always suit up, if your a lady have hair, makeup done and wear a skirt suit, the once I have shown in pants wad when at Wodonga there was three inches of mud. my 11 year old daughter shows in her suit as well, personally I feel it finishes the look...... Good luck :)
