Yeah the discription i was getting of the obedience part of the tests was blowing me away sounds like over and above the udx stuff i thought? i cant wait to watch. it is a pity it is under so much misconception in Aust, all media etc seem to focus on is the bite work and that is only a part of the whole looking for a steady balanced dog

Im in Belgium for a few weeks and we are going to watch a shutzhund comp for my father in laws club the obedience section of the tests sounds awesome, LOL tho they had to train in like 10cm of water yesterday hehe and its snowing today, i wonder how the tracking will go also getting all excited

i enjoy flyball as it is more "fun" than obedience a chance to go flat out and get excited, we enjoy obedience but he vibrates for flyball just watching it he is "idling" lol peopl e keep asking is he cold as it looks like shivering but its excitment that said he lives for herding (which i have not been able to do for 18 months due to baby) and he will actually bark with excitement for agility.. lol im not up to keeping up with him tho but need to get back into that

my first comp as a weiner and it was fun heaps of spectators and some intelligent questions asked!! hopefully some more dogs will start coming to training even normal obedience.

LOL no idea hehe Bides was just so happy to be out again after the rest period due to the baby, i really didnt have a lot of time to work wth him before the trial so im very lucky he passed in the afternoon, i shouldnt be surprised he licked the judge he was just so happy & excited to have mummy all to himself for a change
