I have a dog who hates water, bath time is a nightmare, he hates the hose, freezes in fear i took him to the beach with my water lover dog, and he was the first one in! he LOVED it!!

im sure after a few days of going hungry, he will eat a sausage or a bone not cut up there is no way i would cut anything up for my dogs, they are dogs, eat or go hungry

Aussie bulldog - I dont agree with... but am okish about it (have to be, member of my family has one and it isnt worth fighting over it) mini Aussie bulldog... how can there be a mini, if they Aussie hasnt even been approved a a ANKC breed?

Welcome to the world of bulldogs, our brit had nothing but problems from the day we got him. The Aussie is a bit better, but does get some pink from time to time.

You do know there are many different types of Nutrience? Some of the dogs i know who have skin problems started on Holistic, they still had sloppy poos, so we put them on derma and problem solved, my own boy is on holistic and has never looked better, and my staffy is on the Active.

oh, i forgot about that! I got Atlas pain killers, slipped my mind till i read your post! Vet didnt want him to have any, but i ended up going back for some, he was in heaps of pain

Thats what Atlas's looked like when he pulled it out - He only actuallypulled half out - the vets had to pull the other half off for me, and nope, they didnt sedate him for it!

I used to feed supercoat and never had a problem, no extra poos in the yard, dogs looked good. Feed whatever the dogs do good on, i could feed Kaos chum and she would be ok! (ok, and i have once.. cause i was sooo broke it was the only food i could afford :rolleyes: )

I am sure we got a letter from nutrience saying theirs isnt irradated, i will try to check at work today and see if i can find it

but would be nice to get something back to say i have passed...

My vet wrapped my dogs in vet wrap for 2 days - i think it was mainly because it was bleeding so much, and he isnt good with his feet, so was safer to bandage it - he was also put on Anti Bios

From what i have seen, it can be pretty normal Im sure others will come along later and give you some ideas to stop it I think they eat it more in winter cause it keeps their tummys warm :thumbsup:

Cause he can My boy is a poo eater, as are a lot of the dogs i work with - more so in winter.

I still dont know if i have passed the first assessment.... i handed it in in march..

our bulldog had it as well, i think one was cut out the other stitched back in - he suffered dry eye in the one that was stitched in for the rest of his life.

None now!! I emailed them and they told me the bit i wasnt sure on, we actually did in our block training Only got some questions to answer (i dont do agility, but i think i can handle this now!) Then its only Detection dog and Complex skill to do! Ahh! Now i get it!

What are they Jessica? From what i have seen, they have different things for each group? We got offered the main course, then we could do either Assistance Dogs or Detection Dogs. I talked to someone else who got offered 5 different things? I have to get started on the agility assessment, i am really stuck on it, i dont understand it at all :D

isnt it funny, i was the other way - i rather handle my own dog, so i could pay more attention to what was going on in class, felt if i had another dog, i would spend more time watching it, than listening. I handle dogs every day, so getting different experience with different breeds wasnt important to me

I took my dog for the 2nd block and had no problem? Used him most days (only time i didnt use him was my choice, not NDTFs) did you let them know that you are upset about it?

that is what i think i am going to do - Easier for me as well, i dont cook for me, as if i want to do it for the dogs! :D
