yeah my housemate has just started the setters on the biolac one- and they also normally get fish oil capsules too.

Anyone used any type of "coat improver"? Like Biolac or other? Thoughts?

The dogs im feeding orijen to are a f kelpie x, 18 months, at max she weighs i think 14kgs and a lab x who is nearly 7 years and weighs about 25+kgs and could lose a few kilos for flyball! However i give him 1 cup and the kelpie x 3/4 cup maybe im feeding too little?

I am lucky with my kids- they eat almost anything i put in front of them except Pedigree natural, optimum and they are even wary of Pro Plan!! They also like RC. But tonight I have finally received my 13.5kg bag of Orijen Adult and will be feeding that from now on to 2 of them and the 3rd is on weight and osteo RC- so will probably change her as well when she has finished it! They loved it but maybe im underfeeding?

I coat all 3 of my dogs- 2 lab x's 7 years and 6 years and the kelpie x is 18 months. They all shiver if i dont and the kelpie x wears pyjamas to bed ( an all in one suit).

I have been told that feeding a high protein diet causes excessive body heat,anyone heard of that or experienced it?

Yes i have- the last time he broke out in these sores- he was put on a course of cortisone tabs (sp) and i was told to take him off the beef supercoat.

HI I generally feed my dogs what i can afford or what i win at flyball competitions. Last comp we were at i won Science diet- well my boy has broken out in these unbelievable sores on his tummy, inside legs and near his penis- i have been told it is because of the grains in it? He also has a dry coat which i am giving him fish oil tabs and EPO. The last time he broke out- he only had a few and that was caused by supercoat with beef in it. My 2 girls are fine- but what should i be feeding Alex- i have ordered a trial pack of Orijen. Any help? Thanks

I have always gone with 25mm I have lab x's and a kelpie x Yep I agree, 25mm for sure. I ordered one for a friend with a kelpie x JR and she got the 19mm, and it was perfect, but for a dog any bigger I would go the 25mm. Spirit is a kelpie x foxy x bc and it looks fine in the 25mm size

And My dogs have their name on their harnesses as well and my older girl has her name on her flyball collar- Jenny made all 3! Great service and priced!

My dogs do flyball and only one of them really enjoys tugging the other- lives for balls. And the young one i'm not sure yet.
