  1. Barry is excellent I used to work for him
  2. Just be careful!! Some of these guys are great but having worked in greyhound clinics and canine sports medicine clinics i have seen my fair share of problems made worse by a backyard muscle man. My advice visit someone with qualifications ie veterinary chiro or animal physio. There are a few exceptions and if you want to use one of these i would make sure you talk to alot of people first that has used them.
  3. Try using the aloveen leave in conditioner i have found it great. We use it at work for the dogs that swim regularly it helps stop the skin and coat drying out from the chlorine in the water
  4. Deepest sympathies to you and stewie unfortunatly i know exactly what you are going through. I lost my beloved Rottie in Febuary to a cancerous nasal tumor. It is a absolute horrid disease and no dog deserves to go that way. Think positive have lots of pats and cuddles and enjoy your time with him.
  5. Squirt stuff is great. I love it and not to badly priced either. Where i work we sell the shampoo condition and cologne in a pack for $30.00 which i think is pretty good value.
  6. I charge $30 for a wash and dry for a gloden ret if the coat is very knotty maybe a little extra. For a St Bernard i would charge $40 for a wash and dry.
  7. Contact your local vet and ask what they use and ask if you can buy some off them. Clean absolutly everything that the dog came in contact with. Chuck the bedding out not sure about the carpet and car,
  8. I work at the place fido666 is talking about our hydros are 9.50 turbo dry 3.50. Open 7 days a week till 6 during week and 4 on weekends.
  9. Sometime the marrow can be too rich for some dogs try getting the marrow bones split in half and you can scoop out some of the marrow
  10. Thanks i will contact the supplier and might look into stocking it where i work.
  11. Anyone know if these products are avaliable in melbourne?
  12. I have 5 greyhounds they cost about $35 - $40 per week depending what i am feeding they usually get beef or roo meat vegies and dryfood. My cat cost about $5 per week and we wont talk about the horse i don't want to know
  13. I don't do all that much grooming any more maybe 5- 6 a week inthe slow times and up to 12 in busier times. Its not something i could do as a full time job. I enjoy it when i only have 1-2 at a time anymore than that drives me a bit nutty.
  14. I had to have my lovely rottie PTS in Feb( not because of the arthritis) she had very bad arthritis in the elbows we had very good results with benelox and hydrotherapy. and we used metacam on the bad days.:D
  15. I feed coprice working dog to my pet greyhounds and have the best results of any food so far> I have tried them on Hill Science Diet Eukanuba Pedigree Advance SuperCoat Plus and all these have resulted in more incosistant results than the Coprice.
  16. i feed all my greyhounds supercoat mixed in with their dinner. I have always found it to be a good quality food
