Great temp drop, you should have babies in the next 24 hours I can now get milk out of the top 4 teats but nothing out of the bottom 6 ;) Storm is not following the book on this litter. Fingers croosed for a very smooth delivery and 2 healthy babies that are everything you could ask for. Leanne ps if you want to jump on a plane with Cassie to share her milk load you are both more than welcome

Thats it when it drop to 36 something we are in the car. Storm has only been picking for days, she is hlaf way through last nights tea. I have stopped the tin food as she wasn't eating it and it was a waste. There is not much room for food anymore. Poor girl tried to scratch her face today and couldn't reach Leanne

Storms has been ranging between 37.5 and 38. Thought she was going this morning as she was really restless and panting heavy but the slept the rest of the day. She doesn't have any milk yet (normally my girls are leaking by now) which has me a bit worried. My vet is brilliant and has been ringing 3 times a day to see what she is doing. We will take them on Monday regardless but I think she will go over the weekend. Wishing you and Cassie all the best. It is a pitty we are not in the same state at I think Storm is going to have to many to handle. Leanne

What a lovely mum to be belly. Sound like you are going to be very busy also. Why do we do this to ourselves was thinking tonight about all the poop I am going to be cleaning in a few weeks and all the puppy food I am going to go through :p Leanne

Didn't get to see it as they had sold out, was a bit peeved off as my cousin rang a couple times yesterday and last night and they said there was still plenty of seats Poor Koda, still saying there is 9 pups Storm is so over it and it is very hot today. She has barely eaten the last couple days, don't think there is room for food anymore. I have everything ready so she can have them now, or better still when it cools down tonight, do not want to be travelling in this heat Leanne

Huge congrats to all the new gorgeous babies they are just so gorgeous How are the Stafford girls going? Storm is still holding on, temp is normal but she has gone off her food again, could be the hot weather thats back again its meant to be 43 tomorrow with thunder storms, she will probably pick tomorrow to have her babies especially as I am going to the midnight screening of New Moon and will be tired tomorrow ;) Leanne

Just got back from the Vet for Storms check up. Vet feels she will go this Thursday or Friday , did an internal and she is opening up (explains the discharge this morning) and she has dropped heaps yesterday. I got a crappy slip mating on the Sat and a good tie on the Mon (was using this mating for date) but looks like she has taken from the slip mating. We are going to do a c-section as she is to narrow for the pups (had problems last time and they where not big pups), so am on temp/signs watch. Have dragged out and cleaned the whelping box now just have to rearrange the bedroom to put the box next to my bed. I am happy if she goes a few day early (providing pups are healthy) as it will give me a few more extra days before Scarlet has her lot. Didn't worry ubout doing the xray. Leanne

Hope you can get your car fixed quickly and cheaply. forgot all about setting up the whelping box going to have to dig it out the shed tonight when it cools down and give it a good clean Leanne
