All signs are looking good for my girl Storm. Her ribs have sprung and she is eating me out of house and home. Last time she had 8 pups and both her Mother and Grandmother have never had less that 10 so will be interesting to see how many she has this time. Personally I would like no more than 6 Leanne

You can have my mad house. 3 of my 4 girls have come in a week apart from each other and it now looks like my 7 month old is getting puffy. My 2 boys are total insane by now Leanne

wow your game Sandra, only 2 days apart. I had wanted to mate Scarlet (she is out Piikki) this time but as Storm came in 3 months late and 10 days before Scarlet I have mated her instead. This is Storm's last litter. Thought about doing both girls but do not want 2 litters 2 weeks apart. Keeping everything crossed Leanne

It really depends on the judge but it is hard to beat a nice black. Scarlet is a red and white, I would of prefered a richer red on her. Leanne

As with any breed, dogs will vary in looks to a certain extent depending on the lines and what the breeder/owner likes. He is a couple pics of 2 of my dogs, both have been very successful in the show ring. Scarlet (female) 14 months old Chaos (male) 2 years old Leanne

I think the best way to overcome this is for breeders to make sure that all pet pups are desexed either before leaving or on a contract to be done around the 6 month mark. The biggest problem with the breed is that there are so many BYB's and cross bred dogs out there. All mine are vocal (but not annoying) It is a very unique sound, some French Bulldogs make a similar sound. Leanne

It is purely just for showing and does not affected the dogs health in any way. The standard states that a Stafford must have a black nose and a liver colour will only have dudly nose (light nose), same with blues (will only have grey nose). It was believed in the early years that if black and tan was allowed that it would end up overpowering over all other colours and you would only have black and tans. All colours should be the same price but you will find some breeders like to profit on certain colours stating that they are rare. Leanne

I would recommend a 6 foot fence as Staffords can be great jumpers/climbers. I have never had a problem with my guys but then I have more than 1 Stafford. There are many great articles on separation anxiety on the net. I would suggest never making a fuss over your dog before leaving and when returning home. Start off small with only leaving for a minute or so and slowly build it up. Make sure your dog has plenty of things to occupy its time with while you are away. Leanne
