Well done monsterpup. We know who to go to for advice soon
I'd love to do some of these courses including this one but the rescues keep me a pauper. It is just not in my scope for a long while.
i think i'll be adding monsterpup to my contacts as well as soon as i sign up too

I run my own mobile dog grooming business and can highly recommend the range from http://www.petshampoos.com.au/index.ews
Great products and wonderful people to deal with

Yes, I'm doing it at the moment. I'm really enjoying it, and getting a lot out of it. It's not a lightweight course - some of the stuff is very in-depth (although I do tend to research to extremes ).
You can pm Steve to ask her more about it - I'm sure she wouldn't mind.
Thanks for the reply monsterpup,do they give you a time frame for course to be completed?

Hi,
am interested in doing a canine nutrition course and came across The Master Dog Breeders run one.Anyone done it or any of there other courses?
I have completed Animal Studies Cert 11 but they only just touch on nutrition and interested in finding out more
Any other courses you would recommend in nutrition?

I used Elders Insurance, great prices.I had public liability and insured the trailer and contents(clippers etc)with them as well.
I remember GOI had the same kind on insurance as well but they were dearer though
Hi'a
Thanks for that I have just called Elders and they are cheaper so i may go with them.
Do you normally go for 5 or 10 million liablity ?? this is all totally new to me and my poor little brain is beginning to hurt
i went with the 5 million and was able to pay by the month which was handy, especially when you're only starting out.Had car normal insurance though

can only imagine the look and smell of blended liver and sardines

Are things like dried (dehydrated)chicken neks, pork trotters ok to give to dogs being that they have bones in them?
Had anyone tried using a home dehydrater to dry things like liver etc?

I think vinegar helps

There was a segment on the kids ABC show the other day on a dog that used to lick all the time.I have the same problem with one of my gsd.
It advised to turn away or remove yourself and give no verbal or eye contact and than reward the dog when it is not licking.Must say it's working with my girl as well.
I had to sit the kids down and stress how important it was for us all to do the same thing,it's harder to train a kid than train a dog though
