  1. Hi, I have had Aly off all kibble as Im sure that was what was causing her alergies itchy skin and hair loss. Ive had her on BARF patties Roo as I find the others make her fart real bad ,she gets chicken necks occasionly and bones plus sardines. Oh plus she is now off Macrolene tablets they made her very hungry and thirsty,,,,what Im getting at is that I think Aly is getting too thin. How do I put a bit more weight on her?. Belinda
  2. Thanks Belinda. Do you use the Sigmas yourself? I heard some bad things about the brand and to stick to Nikkor. No I havent the Sigma but the reason I suggested it is because Iam too looking at buying a new lens (macro) that will also do good portraits and a friend who is a pro photographer told me to check them out as they are a good lens for the price. Happy hunting it can be very mind boggling finding the suitable lens for the right price. Keep up the great Roc and Ralf shots Belinda
  3. I also use a Nikon D40x, Sigma is a good brand that is bit cheaper than the Nikkor and are compatible with the nikon cameras. Belinda
  4. I was wondering whether a heated doggy bed would help ease the stiffness because of the cold weather now. Belinda

  7. What program do you use Harminee? You do some beaut work for everyone :-) Belinda
  8. Aly goes nuts when she can smell a manderine being peeled she drools and does a cute little whine, I usualy take the seeds out for her as I dont like them and not sure if they are like apple seeds. Watermelon is another favourite and so is apples. ... I know cheese isnt a fruit but I swear she can be out side and hears or smells the cheese out of the fridge and she is beside me!
  9. I dont like the packaging very much I find that they are hard to find a corner to peel back. The rolls Id just drop on the floor and they would seperate easy. Aly still loves them so guess must be the same :-) Belinda
  10. I dont think their prices are expensive at all, Ive just reordered from them again. No way would I go back to any other products, Alys coat is in great condition now and so is her skin.
  11. After having Aly on seroids and creams and potions for much of her life she is 7 years old, her itchty skin has reduced so much she has lost weight and so much happier, so guess you can say I will be keeping her on the Barf patties, if it wasnt for this forum and wonderful people who told me about them I would be still seeing the same vet and she would be still on the steroids. She now has a new vet who cant believe she is the same dog she saw a few months back so yep to Barf Belinda
  12. There is 12 patties in each roll well they are boxes now and the weight is 2.72 kilos and each pattie is 227grms. Belinda
  13. I think I might have to try and find a distributor here in WA, Belinda
  14. I like the sound of the rabbit. We tried the Roo, and it instantly turned my wife's stomach so we are never touching that one again. I went to vets today to get BARF patties for Aly and yes they have changed the packaging and the price has increased $3.00 they now cost me $23 Aly loves the roo but it sells really quick so bought her the combination ones,,, she loves her BARF patties :D Belinda
  15. Ive taken Aly off all Kibble and she now has BARF patties, chicken necks, sardines or mackerl she hasnt looked back, skin is glowing she has trimmed down so thumbs up to BARF  Belinda
  16. Aly had a marrow bone yesterday, she has them quite often and her teeth are in great condition. But they do consitipate her :p Belinda
  17. Everyone is alowd a brag now and then eh? I wonder how many DOLERS are now using Grommers range of Products? As I have said before I wont be using any other shampoo for Aly, my vet was so impressed with Alys coat. Belinda
  18. Hi, Aly had very itchy skin few weeks back, after posting on here got good suggestions, change her diet which I have, she hasnt had any kibble and is on Roo meat Human grade(pet makes her fart ) raw veges and Barf patties. I also contacted Groomers for shampoo EPO vet grade for her coat, have used it now for 4 weeks, is now shiny her coat is growing back and hardly any hair loss, and best of all no itchies . Maybe a change of diet may help you too I took her to vet yesterday and were they impressed Belinda
  19. Aly had the bad itchies and was losing her fur, after posting on here and people said maybe mite etc I too her to vet had scraping for the mite but was none, vet gave me phenergan and Neotopic cream, that eased the itchies, and after reading on here it was suggested maybe her diet had a impact so took her off kibble have her on raw meat and veges now, using the groomers EPO shampoo and you should see her now after a few weeks hair has grown back shes also lost 2 kilos and is so much happier. So what I'm getting at maybe its her diet and not mite.....
  20. Hi, I agree, Thankyou for starting this post! I have now been using the EPO now for a couple of weeks on Aly and boy has her coat improved. She shines so much and the ITCHIES have gone and her fur has started to grow back where she would rub herself over lawn or carpet or anything that would scratch... I can honestly say I will never go back to another brand of shampoo for her...Can wait for the Vet to see her next Thursday when she goes for her booster needles. Thanks again for the post.. Belinda
  21. I think even lean beef is only about 22% protein, so by the time bone and veges are included it's got to come down from that. For my guys too high a protein % is a bigger concern than too little so they sound good to me, I wonder if they are made in WA which might mean that they won't get over here. They are made In Queensland.
  22. I bet NSW don't keep it!! Coles doesnt seem to carry it here, seems to be Woolies. They didnt have any of the roo patties tho
  23. Man,you can get pet kangaroo mince too that sucks,we don't have that in my local stores Anyone else in NSW seen the kangaroo pet mince in the freezer?? Yup -- in about 3 different brands too! No added preservatives etc. either :p Gawd, I can't believe it -- WA isn't behind with the times for once :D LOL yes we here in WA usualy have to wait... I bought Aly some of the patties, thought see what they are like well she gobbled them up,they look and smell good. She hasnt had a problem, To the question re price think they were $4.99 for a kilo. They are cut into rounds.
  24. Yes 4 Paws frozen patties, they sound OK wondering if anyone has used them.
