I personally like doing sweepies as it gives Morgie a bit of a fun experience - especially as I more often than not never have anyone else in my breed there. For a show you'll need: - crate/trolley - grooming stuff - I bought a plastic tool box from kmart to store mine in - shade - either a gazebo, tent or a beach umbrella - number holder - show lead - water (just in case the water available isnt of drinking quality) - food - chair

It is sturdier and it has special UV protection and is a higher denier.

the 3x3 size is what I want but its the size of the delux packed - I dont think I would fit it in the car - the standard is still 3x3 but 30cm shorter. How do you fit yours in your car poocow?? I have a forester but kids in the back seat dont think I could manage this one lol Bec I have a forester too! I have roof racks so it goes on those. It does fit in the car by standing it in the foot well. Freckles and I fit the gazebo, 2 dogs and 2 kids plus all our gear in the car before I got the racks.

The deluxe is the same size as the standard (3 x 3). Keep it as it gives you more room if you need it in the future.

That looks ok Jess but would it really be that much easier to put up? Looks a bit fiddly.
-
Pull it out as far as you can. Then get underneath it and push it up in the middle. Almost like you shake it up - that pushes it out. Then you go and push up each corner and click them in. Then peg 4 legs down. I can lift two legs up at once by standing in the middle on a side and pushing up. Oh cool thanks Will try that next time I go along solo.

I tried to put up a deluxe myself and failed :D Did the whole nail in one corner and shimmy it out, but I failed :D It might be easier with a compact though. I went the deluxe as OH and I often camp out in ours at shows so wanted a bit of room to move.

You'll be fine Jess! Don't worry I'm a complete numpty in the ring. I have a gazebo but it takes 2 people to put it up. Well my weekend was a bit meh, am so tired now. Sat - nothing in sweepies, default baby of breed. Sun - shortlisted in sweepies, default baby of breed. Had a bit of a drama. My friends Pointer went BIG so everyone was screaming and clapping and Morgan just freaked out and yanked the lead out of my hand and ran off through the ring. I was so embarrassed, its completely my fault too. So when we went in next for baby in group she wouldn't stack and was just generally freaked out. I'm worried I've ruined her by pushing her to go back in the ring, I should have pulled her...She seems ok now but time will tell.

Well done Jess! They normally don't hand runner up in shows to the babies.

Where abouts are you? They sell it at stock feed stores.

Whilst he doesn't love it as much as he loved Orijen he still eats it every night. This is the dog who never used to eat as well so I give it a big The lack of beet pulp didn't agree with my pup so shes on EP Holistic Chicken and she looks great on it.

Darcy was very similar while he was on EP Duck & Oatmeal. Plus add vomitting into the mix. Now hes on Artemis Maximal Grain Free and meds twice daily he rarely vomits and has nice solid poops.

I only buy the mince, don't know the other prices off the top of my head. Chicken mince is around $2 or maybe $2.50 a kg. The mixed varieties ie. with sardines/liver/rabbit/pork/beef mixed in ranges from $2.75-$3.75 a kg. What I love about it is the range and that they come in 1kg take away container tubs so they are easy to stack in the freezer and store in the fridge - 1 tub does us for 2 days. Takes me at least an hour to get there but I always buy in bulk and make sure my freezer is packed full!
-
Aussie Pet Supplies @ Haberfield I go there and buy in bulk. My dogs love the different varieties of their chicken mince!

Well done Jess

A few shipments have just come in. I've been waiting for Morgie's food for weeks and finally got it on Thursday night. I am currently feeding EP Holistic Chicken for Morgan, she does well on it. My other 2 get Artemis Maximal Grain Free as Doog can't have grain. I prefer Artemis over EP but Morgan's gut doesn't tolerate it.
