Thanks guys. We've had heaps of shares through our Facebook page too and still no interest in Deefa -
I have been coveting this lens since I first heard about it and finally took the plunge and bought it. Picking it up when I'm in the city next week and can't wait! If I love it as much as I hope I do, I'll probably sell the Nikon 50mm 1.4 I have so if anyone is interested please just yell out. Anyone else have this Sigma lens?

Hi all, We have a ten month old huge white boy who is looking for someone to foster him with a view to adoption. He is deaf. He's still very much a puppy, loves the company of other dogs, but is too big and playful for a home with cats or small children. If you are interested in DEEFA please email [email protected]. Thanks!

Thank you so much everyone for your kind thoughts - Zephyr will be coming home tonight :D . Now we've just got to get some weight onto him. Yep LFF, our vet is a star. I don't think anyone here is from Bendigo? But if you ever need a vet in the area, her name is Sue Collins and she has McIvor Rd Vet Clinic. Been going there for years and would recommend her to anyone.

Zeph survived the surgery and is so far, doing far better than expected. He had a huge cyst (15cm) on the spleen and it was bleeding internally (within the spleen). Fingers crossed he will be home tomorrow. We visited him today and his gum colour was so much better, and he was much brighter than he was prior to the surgery. I'm so glad we went with this option. Yay for Zephyr

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. The ultrasound showed growths on his spleen. Our vet gave us three options - do nothing, and one day he would bleed internally to death (she said it wouldn't be painful, we'd just find him gone), put him to sleep now, or remove the spleen and hope that the cancer hasn't spread. I'm always reluctant to do surgery on old dogs but she felt it was worth a chance, so we've opted for this. The surgery will be tonight. I think though that it's highly likely they will find more tumors when they open him up in which case he will be gently let go then. I think our vet was preparing us for this - she told us to go spend some time down the park with him before leaving him with them. We decided not to, as we're not the sort of people who find solace in spending time with a dog who is highly likely about to die (it's just too painful for me). So now it's just wait and see what happens tonight. Off topic, but here are a few more photos of the beautiful Poppy. She's an iggy owned by our kennel manager.

I've just had what sounds like bad news about Zephyr. I had xrays and a blood test done last week. X-rays showed nothing. Vet just rang to say that his blood cell count is very low indicating a bleed. He suspects a tumor on his spleen. Back to vet tomorrow for ultrasound. 31/52 Poppy

Terrier, Terrier X Wanted

Hi guys, We are on the hunt for two more terriers :). Moby and Spike fitted in beautifully but sadly Moby was scared of our large dogs. Thankfully our vet adores him as much as we do and he now lives with her. Here is Spikey (and thanks again to Fiona for allowing the boys to come live with us!): My link If anyone knows of a couple of robust, outgoing, crazy terriers, please let me know. Age, sex and colour is not important but the temperament is. Our little dogs have a fabulous life here :D . Larissa -
lovely CC!

I have a D7000 and recently upgraded to a D800. I have had focus issues with the D7000 since I purchased it - it is in being serviced at the moment and I'm hoping that they will also fix this issue. I believe that this is common with this model but the D7100 may be different :). I like the D7000, but I LOVE the D800 :)

He will be 13 in August HW. He has gone down hill very quickly - it seems like only a couple of months ago he was running around and getting on the couch; now he is very weak in his hind legs and never even tries to get on the furniture. He was my first race dog - we picked him out when he was just ten days old.

Thanks everyone, and congratulations Weibritty and Clay! 30/52 - the old man again

Thank you. I leave for Italy in six weeks, and will be gone a month. My husband and I live together part time and although I have people coming to house sit, I'm worried a decision will have to be made when I'm not here and my poor husband will have to cope with it alone . It is putting pressure on us to make a decision about his future but I've decided to try not to think too much about it for the next four weeks. And in the mean time, he can have roast chicken for dinner every night if he wants.

29/52 zephyr. He will be the subject of week 30 as well... he is our old man and his time left with us is counted in weeks, hopefully months, rather than years.

I've just heard that some of the photos from my shoot on Sunday (with the model with the red hair) are being published in Adore Pin Up magazine! So excited :)!! :D

Did this on my own :). Well, sort of - a friend shared the cost of hiring her.

Thanks Huga, she was gorgeous! And completely off topic but I just want to share a few more photos of her - she was lovely with her blue eyes and red hair :)!
