Pet Plan Insurance

Hi everyone,

Looking into getting insurance for Marley and was looking in particular at Petplan. Has anyone had any experience with this insurance company or any others?

Also wondering about conditions like MVD and if any insursance would cover that? Seeing Marley is a CKCS it is something that may happen down the track even though his parents etc were screened for it... knowing our luck he'll develope it!

Anyway any help would be appriciated!

I think the only pet insurance that doesn't exclude genetic conditions for particular breeds is the RSPCA one.

Yeah i've been looking through that and I can't see anything so far that states it would not cover that... but I was under the impression hardly any insurance companys would

You'd need to ring and ask them, to be sure.

I did have it in the past and was very happy with it, but the conditions and payouts were better then.

I sent all my puppies home with 6 weeks insurance, from Pet Plan, and have just taken out their insurance on the puppy I have kept. I think their terms and conditions are reasonable. I do not know about other breeds but they do not exclude genetic conditons for Labs.
