Kirislin
I just remembered I have an old, very old Tamron lens that has been sitting unused in my wardrobe for close on 20 years. can I use it on my Canon 400d? anyone know, here's a couple of piccys of it. Ashanali
If the mount is the same and it fits you can use it. Just don't try forcing anything. If it feels like it isn't going to work, then don't try and 'make it'.
Ripley
I have an old Tokina lens (a 70-300mm) that fit my Canon 350D and also fits the 30D. It was on an old Canon film camera OH had when I met him. However, now I know a little bit more about taking photos, the images taken with it are nothing short of sh*t with awful purple fringing on every shot. Hope your lens is better. Luke W
No and no. It won't fit on it's own, you'd need an adapter and image quality would be less than stellar anyway.
Ashanali
See, this is where I liked pentax. Alot of gear was backward compatible. Damn canon!
Kirislin
thanks everyone. I might dig out the old film camera and try it out again for fun.
