I have asked for my post to be made No 1 so that the litters can be seen.

Thanks BB - you are always a fantastic one for litter threads - always so organised and on the ball - unlike myself :confused:

That's the nurse/midwife/maternal and child health nurse in me. :) :D :(:):eek::) :) ;) ;)

We have an ultrasound booked for the 9th Nov. Our vet only works 2 days a week from 10am - 12pm but is coming in at 5 pm to do the ultrasound. He is an expert and we always like to have the best for our Pugs. Time is going quick.

Thanks. We have been with him for over 7 years and he is a reproductive specialist so we know he is a keeper. We moved to another town 3 years ago but still go back to him when we have a litter.

They should be able to feel the puppies before they become too large however even if they can get a couple of minutes of ultrasound while she is standing it would be worth it for peace of mind. Some of our Pugs have enjoyed laying on their backs because of the attention. Some refuse. If they are standing, their panting makes it hard though so we spend more time talking to them so they stop and close their mouth then we do looking at the screen.

Good luck.

Here are a couple of photos taken today. She will be 3 weeks. Do you think I better get prepared :laugh:

She is gorgeous. I can usually feel a thickening either side, like a long bulge, where the two horns of the uterus are (when standing). If only you can get her to roll over like that for the ultrasound. :cheer: I always think it's best to treat them as if they are pregnant until told otherwise.

Lucky you to have expert advice on hand. I think we have funded our vet's extension on his surgery over the years, so I figure he doesn't mind accommodating us. He actually gets quite excited when he points out our beautiful puppies on the screen. He also loves to give us a photo or DVD which I quickly email to prospective buyers.

Unfortunately our funding goes straight back into our dogs, will never have those luxury overseas trips with our lot of Bullies and we wouldn't have it any other way. But it's so nice to hear of other Vets that still get pleasure from mother nature and truly love what they do. The biggest smile my husband gets is when he safely delivers those precious bubs.

Hi Partipaws ..yes here we are again..I so hope things go better for you this time after the loss of your lovely boy

Both my girls are new ones I bought from a breeder who was having to downsize due to health problems

My boy should complement them wonderfully..hoping of course for special pups

Girl that is due at Xmas is a tiny maiden so that is going to be a very worrying time

Mating went wonderfully though ..was glad when she went off ..think the boy was also >>LOL

Looks like we have a little morning sickness happening. Cynda is very food drivin and will gladly eat shite if i fed it to her, but tonights dinner went down rather slow. We are talking like from 1,2,3 its gone to 15 or so minutes till her bowl is clean. She is very mellow too and that is certainly not like our little 'live wire' :cheer:

Well I have been looking at her every minute of the day to see if she is bulging down the sides :eek: And I think we can honestly say, my little baby girl is going to be a mummy.

I was thinking the other day, wow, felt like only yesterday that she was bought into this world now she gonna be a mummy. How time flies hey!

I was reading your post this morning thinking " oh, the poor girl, I hope she is not too sick" and then I walk into the kitchen with my 19year old son holding his shoe in his hand saying who threw up.(he had stepped in it) You guessed it, our poor girl Rosie has morning sickness too. Or she ate too much???? She does like to eat what the other Pugs leave.
