What are the Ruthless ones like with salt water. I really like the look of them and am happy to pay for a top quality product, but my dogs spend a lot of time at the beach an in the water.

Wouldnt want a fancy new leash or collar to go and fall apart from that.

Leather leads & salt water [or any water for that matter] don't go well together

exactly, particularly salt water. If I knew in advance I was going to have leather in salt water I would say oil it thoroughly before hand and then clean it afterwards, rinse in fresh water to get the salt off and oil again, but even then it might not look the same, it would probably be darker. Best to use synthetic in the sea. I bought my horse a little plastic bridle for when we went to the beach, I used to call it his bathers. :coffee:
